CBS Renews Two and a Half Men for Season 10

It's official: Two and a Half Men will be back for a tenth season on CBS. We pretty much knew this was coming, but now it's confirmed—the network announced Saturday that the long-running comedy, now in its ninth season, has reached new agreements with series stars Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones. Ongoing negotiations with the principal cast are likely what prevented the show from earning a renewal several weeks ago, when CBS handed out early renewals to a whopping 15 shows.

Season 10 will the show's second season to star Kutcher as one of the titular men, following the now-infamous firing of Charlie Sheen toward the end of the 2010-2011 season. Kutcher's debut in last September's Season 9 premiere drew 28 million viewers who tuned in to see the changing of the guard, and despite the fact that not all of those curious folks stuck around, Two and Half Men has continued to perform in 2011-2012, averaging 15 million viewers per episode.

That makes five returning comedies for CBS's 2012-2013 season, as Two and a Half Men joins the already renewed How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, and The Big Bang Theory. The network will announce its full 2012-2013 lineup on Wednesday at its Upfront presentation in New York.

Have you been watching Two and a Half Men since Sheen left the show? Will you tune in for Season 10?

They should kill the show. No Charlie, no show. Stopped watching it when they changed the caracter. It was so ridiculous the 9th season.

Yes I have been watching. And I like it. Allthough it's different and I wouldn't compare it to when Charlie was on the show. But Kutcher is making a great job.

Btw is Jake staying on the show as a regular?

Episodes really nailed it with "Pucks!" It doesn't matter if the show is terrible, the mass majority of America will still enjoy it. Maybe 90% of humans are just THAT stupid?
