Something old, something new, something borrowed, something... Blutbad? The Jan. 24 episode of NBC's Grimm titled "Wild Hunt" finds the city of Portland terrorized by a serial killer who is collecting cop scalps. But there's good news, too. During the same hour, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and his sweetheart Rosalee (Bree Turner) will become engaged — and TV Guide Magazine has an exclusive look at the big moment.

"Monroe and Rosalee play off each other so well, and we've had so much fun writing them, that the logical next step had to be an engagement," says executive producer Jim Kouf. "The proposal itself is a great, quirky moment and Silas and Bree did a wonderful job. Sometimes what's best for the show and what's best for the fans comes into perfect alignment, and luckily for us, this was one of those situations."

The news will bring both sets of parents into the mix and "we see why Monroe and Rosalee are the way they are," says executive producer David Greenwalt. "They're two different kinds of Wesen, which is essentially the Grimm version of an interracial or same-sex marriage. It provides us a deep well to draw from in terms of dramatic storytelling."

Adds Greenwalt: "We can't wait to write the actual wedding! Just think about it — a myriad of different Wesen, a few Kehrseites, and a Grimm, all under one roof. That can't possibly go over well, can it?"

I really hope Nick is the best man!! I can't imagine who else it would be. Granted, I figure that will be a problem all on its own! A Grimm! As a best man to a Blutbad! Oh, the horror! I can't wait.

I can only imagine if Nick is the best man...

"You know, not long after I first met Monroe, he gave me this advice...'count your fingers after you shake hands with a fuchsbau'..."

Not really...it was pretty much inevitable. Have you ever seen a light at the end of a tunnel, then complained about spoilers when someone told you to move before that bus hits you?
