Ha ha, suck it, Observers.
I want two things: 1. That Winmark. Goes. Down. Hard! And 2. Donald O'Connor, will you marry me?!
WAIIIIIIIT. In 2 days it's the season finale? -.- Crap. Gonna watch farscape for filling the void inside me once fringe ends.
nice touch. i will do miss Joshua Jackson
They never said that Michael going back was going to reset the timeline entirely. They said he could change the way the scientist who become the observers go about that process by showing them they can achieve the heightened state of intelligence they want and kept their emotions at the same time. In this theory the observers will still exist but will be more prone to help because they'll have more empathy for certain situations. Its possible September Peter as a child before he gets sick, preventing the need to create a window into the other universe which would in turn prevent the fringe events from happening in universe A that formed the Fringe team together. Which would prevent Walter and his Wife's marriage from falling apart as well as Walter ending up in mental hospital. Whether this prevents Peter and Olivia meeting will be the big question because no matter what changes they make with the Observers Walter and Spock will still experiment with Kortexiphan on Olivia and the other Children. Which would lend to the opportunity for Olivia and Peter to know each other/cross path as Kids.
I feel and hope all my theories are wrong about the ending because I want to be surprised. I think there will be a final massive reset but the final hour will show us how Peter and Olivia ended up together anyway, maybe with some text on the screen the way Letters of Transit started out. Either way...lets do this. Gonna roll face and watch this saga end hell yes =
So how about this theory ... This is ALL just figment of Walters delusional mind and drug induced imagination .. and the shot we will be left with after 5 seasons is Walter in a loony bin at St Claire's and everything tied back to S01E01 ? ... I sincerely hope I am wrong ....
I actually sincerely hope you are right. (I'm a disturbed fan of the show, sorry.)
If you really think this is a great idea for a show go watch the original version of the show Dallas and tell me what you think about a show set in an absurd Dreamscapes? I highly doubt you'll find it so pleasing.
a question: if they change the future so that observers never exist then who will save Peter and Walter from the lake? It was September who saved them and if he never exists then Peter will cease to exist
Why would they need saving? If Observers never existed, Walternate would not have been distracted, and he would have cured Peter, so Walter would never cross over to the other side to save him.
Yes but then the Peter we know will stay in the alternate universe and the Peter Olivia might meet is the one who died. So they are not the same Peter.
Nope, Olivia would not meet this side's Peter at all because he died as a kid. Only Walternate discovered the cure, not our Walter.
I said our Peter, the one from the alternate universe. I call him ours even though he's from the other universe. I guess that was a bit misleading :)
Out Olive will not Peter at all, since he died. Observers did not influence that, hence when they are gone, this will stay unchanged. Peter will still die.But our Peter, the one from the alternate universe, will survive. Just not in our blue universe.
WIthout September Walter will not be on the lake with Peter. Walter will watch Walternate find a cure, Peter will survive but as Walternate's son. Will that mean that Peter or Olivia never cross over and meet each other and have Etta? Not necessarily. Still many chances for that to happen. William Bell, Jones, Walter and Walternate - all could have messed with the universes. And this show has REALLY stressed out how Olivia and Peter are meant to be. So if Peter ceases to exist, I,at least, will rely on the possibility that somewhere Peter and Olivia still found each other and Etta is alive. Ugh, on the verge of crying over Fringe. Again...
Love it, love it, looove it!!!
It reminds me of that time when David Robert Jones used that disease or whatever to close people's eyes, ears, mouths and buttholes. Good times.
Oh dear.... I'm going to have to restrain myself from crying if Walter dies in the end...
I love this show so much, I don't want to believe it's ending ;-(
