Raylan Givens will be putting on his party hat tonight (it looks the same as his regular hat): FX has renewed Justified for a fifth season. Network president John Landgraf made the announcement this morning at FX's Upfront presentation in New York. The show, which is set to finish its fourth season this Tuesday, will return for Season 5 in January 2014.

I'm so glad that Justified is coming back for another season!!! I expected it to, but it's so good to hear that it is official!!! I can't wait to see what happens to Ava, Boyd, and of course, Raylan, Winona, and the baby!!! I sooo love the brilliant writing for this show, and the way that Raylan, Boyd, and even Art comes up with the darnest quotes!!! I wish Justified would never end!!! Long live Raylan Givens!!!! <3

Glad to hear one of my favorite shows is renewed yet again, not only hosting some of the most fleshed out characters on TV but written with some clever plots and accompanying dialogue. I've always felt season 2 was a real standout season with some of the best performances I've ever seen on screen and while I doubt they'll be able to top that, the last two seasons were just plain fun and I'm sure the writers have plenty more stories to tell.

Excellent, excellent news. My second favorite show on FX behind SOA.

Really? Why? Is it the amazing story and dialogue? The fantastic characters? The sheer fact that this show has continued for FX what The Shield started for FX so long ago. That (aside from the current state of SOA) FX just brings quality drama to the TV screen. FX might be the best cable network on TV. Aside from Anger Management it has fantastic comedies They keep coming up with great TV.

But the messed up thing. If this show had been on at least two of the networks, they would have dropped it after one season.
