Dudes! Ruxin, Andre, Pete, Kevin, and Taco will be back next year to draft Adrian Peterson as the number-one overall pick and then casually bring him up between conversations about pubic hair and boobs. FX has renewed its original comedy The League for a 13-episode fifth season for a fall 2013 debut.

You fantasy football nuts love stats, so here are some about The League: The current fourth season has averaged 1.63 million viewers, with 1.45 million of those in the 18-49 demo. It's also featured a television-best number of normal-looking dudes dating insanely hot chicks.

FX would also like to remind you that The League Season 4 concludes tonight with back-to-back episodes featuring guest appearances by Jeff Goldblum as Ruxin's dad and Brooklyn Decker as Gina Gibiatti. What FX failed to mention in its press release is that Bob Odenkirk is also in one of the episodes. That's why I'm here for you.

This is one of the most underrated comedies on TV. Why it gets no love is beyond me!
Even the writers here never say a word about it! That includes you, Tim!

Good news, the 4th was the weakest season though so they need to address that, still some great episodes but much less mention of the actual league and the odd unfunny ep.

FX is really the best network, isn't?

Hurray! But I'm still mad at FX for cancelling Terriers...

This should be renewed through 2016, minimum.
