Meet the Houseguests of Big Brother 14!

Jul 05, 2012

On Thursday, July 12, Big Brother will kick off its fourteenth season of trapping a cast of willing weirdos in a house filled with more cameras than that boat on The River had and asking them to compete in silly challenges in hopes of winning the $500,000 grand prize. CBS has just announced this year's cast, so let's meet them, shall we?

Psst! Once you enter the photo viewer, you can navigate through the photos using your left and right arrow keys. Hit ESC to return to this page.

Following the Season 14 premiere on Thursday, July 12, Big Brother will air three times a week, on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; live evictions will take place Thursdays as host Julie Chen presides.

Plus there's this interesting little nugget from CBS's press release:

In a series first, four of the most successful players to ever enter the BIG BROTHER house will return to play their own game and for their own separate prize. The identities of the four returning players and details surrounding their mission inside the house will be revealed during the season premiere.

Okay, sure, whatever you've got to do to keep things fresh, CBS!

Will you be tuning in this season? What are your first impressions of the new cast? Who do you think the "returning" players will be?

I decided to tune in, have to wait until the show starts before I form opinions Janelle, Britney Hayes, Dan G and Boogie GO JANELLE

Successful is a tricky term. A fan favorite and a successful player are two different things. I'm sorry Evil Dick was not a successful player. If anyone remembers correctly the year Dick won was the year of America's player, which was f***ing stupid by the way. America kept him in. Evil Dick was a legend in his own mind. I'm not a big fan of previous winners coming back on. The first name that came to my mind was Janelle. Danielle played well in both of her seasons. But if I'm going to list previous winners as an option then it would be Will, Dan, & Rachel. But I can't take another season of Rachel, even thought if Janelle is on the show I would like to see them go at it.

Obvi, Evil Dick's back. 'Wonder if they got Eric back, too. Janelle should come back, 'cause she deserves a shot at winning it all - hell, if Rachel can win, anybody can! Obvi, Chilltown coming back is a loooooong shot... but we can all dream, can't we?

And please, CBS, for the love of God and everything that is holy and good and nice and right, DO NOT LET AMERICA VOTE ON ANYTHING OF IMPORTANCE! If there's one thing I learned after the "America's Player" season (something that ABC's "Glass House" clearly proves), it's that America shouldn't have a say on anything that can directly affect the game. Don't get me wrong, I know America means well... but America cannot help it: if you give it a chance, it will SCREW IT UP and make the show unwatchable.

So have mercy and give as little involvement as possible to the viewers. I mean, what's the point of watching hamsters if you keep poking them every two minutes? Let the hamsters run free, and, eventually, they'll do what they're suppose to do... which is destroying each other.

    Fabio has a son?

I hope some of the more likeable and entertaining people come back.

What about Will (dr will) or Boogie. I consider them to be two of the most successful players.

I wish they would stop bringing back past players. It ruined last year and it's completely unfair for the new players.
