The former Spice Girl returns to her hometown Leeds to live in a rundown house for a new reality show on ITV1, reports The Sun.

For 7 Days On The Breadline, Mel will live in a temporary home with a broken window and garden full of junk.

She will try out living as a single mum by taking the kids to school herself and picking up child benefit from the post office.

Keith Allen, Trinny Woodall and Austin Healey are also taking part in the riches-to-rags show.
