J.J. ABRAMS SHITS GOLD NEWS

... J.J. Abrams, how have your last 48 hours been? After being named the director of the new Star Wars film, Abrams has another project in the works. Fox has ordered a pilot of an untitled drama that's set in the near future and follows cops who partner up with super fancy androids to keep the streets clean. Abrams is reteaming with Fringe showrunner J.H. Wyman on the show. Abrams has also sold another pilot to NBC titled Believe, about a young woman with a gift who forms an unlikely relationship with an escaped con. Abrams' leftover breakfast has also been ordered to series. [EW]

MORE PILOTS! PILOTS EVERYWHERE!

... NBC has ordered a pilot from Saturday Night Live writer John Mulaney. The untitled multi-camera comedy is loosely based on Mulaney's life and is described as a young ensemble comedy. Mulaney will star. I bet Mulaney is feeling pretty good about himself right now. [Deadline Hollywood]

... NBC has ordered a pilot for Craig Robinson's comedy from The Office's Greg Daniels. Robinson (Daryl from The Office) will star as a middle-school music teacher. [TV Guide]

... No more boring high school stuff! The CW likes its shows high-concept! The network has ordered three pilots for contention next season. The Hundred is a post-apocalyptic tale about 100 juvenile delinquents sent back to Earth to determine whether it's inhabitable after nuclear war blows it up. Oxygen finds out what happens when a human girl falls in love with a alien boy. And finally, Reign is a period piece about young Mary Queen of Scots. My money is not on the history lesson disguised as a teen drama. [TV Line]

... ABC has ordered a remake of the currently running British comedy series Spy. The single-camera sitcom centers on a father who accidentally joins the secret service to prove his fatherliness to his son. Also at ABC is a single-camera comedy about a woman who moves back home with her dad and starts coaching her son's little league team. James Caan is in talks to star as the father, a former ballplayer and current drunk. [THR]

BUSINESS TIME

... Syfy has set a date for the television premiere of Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome: February 10 at 9pm. The failed pilot has already aired on YouTube. Great, now I have to steal my neighbor's cable instead of just their internet to watch this again? [Syfy via press release]

... TruTV's Hardcore Pawn has been renewed for a seventh season because what else does TruTV have? [TruTV via press release]

... AMC is pondering a Breaking Bad companion show called Talking Bad, which would be to the hit meth-dealing drama what Talking Dead is to The Walking Dead. The new show would feature some dude and some guests talking about each new episode of Breaking Bad. I think AMC should just launch AMC2, which would be non-stop footage of Chris Hardwick watching AMC. (This is a Twitter joke repeat, sorry.) [Deadline Hollywood]

CASTING NEWS

... Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) will guest-star on an upcoming episode of Grey's Anatomy. Details on her role haven't been released, but my inside sources tell me she will play a lady. [TV Line]

... The Secret Circle star Britt Robertson has escaped the clutches of The CW and will star in CBS's Under the Dome, the sci-fi miniseries due to air this summer. The show, based on Stephen King's book, is about a small town that gets covered in a mysterious plastic shield, cutting it off from the rest of the world. Robertson will play Angie, a waitress with aspirations to leave. Good luck with that now, honey. [Deadline Hollywood]

Are you tired of going office daily? Earn 60$ per hour working from home with Google! I've made $64,000 so far this year working online and I'm a full time student. Im using an online business opportunity I heard about and I've made such great money. It's really user friendly and I'm just so happy that I found out about it. Here is what I do,

JJ Abrams is turning into the sci-fi version of Seth MacFarlane...he's everywhere.

JJ re-partnering with Joel Wyman?? If it could naturally become my Fringe replacement...that'd be amazing.

I'm completely intrigued by the fact that Mulaney is pitching a multicam sitcom. Hopefully with Lorne Michaels behind it, NBC will pick it up and treat it well. Or at least slightly better than most multicams get treated these days.

Tim, you had the perfect opportunity there to "Duchovny" Sarah Chalke and you missed it! Are you a little off your game since the end of Fringe?

Under the Dome is the only thing worth seeing here. Thankfully it's a miniseries so that it will at least get a proper ending.
