... A sequel is in the works for Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog according to Nathan Fillion, one of the stars of the original online sensation. Mum's the word on the details, but we're hoping for a new title: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Twitter. [via Watch With Kirsten]

... Trey Parker and Matt Stone have released the original, previously unaired South Park pilot. The duo animated the episode, which resembles 1997's "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe," entirely by hand with construction paper. Watch it here. [via The Live Feed]

... Speaking of animation, Cartoon Network has picked up two new series, though airdates are yet to be set. The first, Regular Show, chronicles bored groundskeepers, and the second, Horrorbots, focuses on two teenage robots going through high school. [via Variety]

... Money issues have forced TNT to end Saving Grace, starring Holly Hunter, after its third season. Six new episodes will run this winter, and the remaining nine will air in summer 2010. [via The Hollywood Reporter]

... Kate Winslet is set to star in a new miniseries, adapted from the James M. Cain novel Mildred Pierce. Todd Haynes will direct, but no network deals have been made yet. [via Variety]

... Sonic Youth is making an appearance on Gossip Girl next season. The '80s rockers definitely feed the WTF fire, but we can't help thinking that GG is a teensy bit cooler now. [via Gawker]

I was amazed that Saving Grace lasted so long. It was such an original exploration of what faith and grace is all about. It is never a crisp and obvious issue for each individual and this show really delved deeply into the mystery of religious faith. Holly Hunter was wonderfully transparent in her rendition of Grace's daily dilemmas. Saving Grace is one of the all-time, great television productions! I am very disappointed to see it end.

Fans of Saving Grace...sign the petition below. TNT renewed the show but Fox Studios that makes each episode decided not to make any more. So TNT is on our side!!

Well one Female cop drama I get meshed up with everything else down, now just a few more to go (not saying they all must die, but most are worse than the usual shlock).

I will really be sad to see Saving Grace go...The show was a really RAW enjoyable hour of Drama. There are not too many shows on cable TV willing to go how far SG went.
