... NBC has set a premiere date for its schizo doctor drama Do No Harm, and it comes at the expense of Brian Williams. Do No Harm, a Jekyll & Hyde story about a doctor with a nasty alter ego, will take over Thursdays at 10pm starting January 31, displacing Rock Center with Brian Williams to Fridays beginning February 8. The network also announced that the one-hour series finale of 30 Rock will air on January 31. [NBC via press release]

... As we suspected, AMC's The Killing IS returning to television. We think. The latest news is that writers and producers on the show have returned to the writers room to work on a third season, with an eye toward a May launch on AMC. Previous reports about a deal with Netflix are still just that—reports—as no deal has been signed. So to update you, we think that The Killing is maybe coming back again. [Variety]

... Nickelodeon has ordered 20 episodes of Sam & Cat, a spin-off of two of its popular (recently ended) shows: iCarly, and Victorious. Jennette McCurdy will reprise her role as Sam and Ariana Grande will reprise her role as Cat, and the two characters will find themselves living together as roommates and starting a baby-sitting business. [Deadline Hollywood]

... Mob Wives Chicago has been canceled, capiche? [Sun Times]

... Rapper Fiddy Cent is producing the drama Power with Starz. The series focuses on a New York nightclub owner who does some legal things and some not-so legal things. [Variety]

... NBC's upcoming live version of The Sound of Music has found its Maria von Trapp: Former American Idol sweetheart Carrie Underwood has nabbed her first major acting gig in the three-hour event scheduled for late 2013, and will handle the production's spinning and singing and screeching about inanimate natural objects being alive. [Deadline Hollywood]

... Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is trying to creep in on Homer's property. MacFarlane will lend his voice to the long-running animated program The Simpsons as a man who tries to woo Marge in the episode "Dangers on a Train." [EW]

... Spartacus's Manu Bennett will drop by The CW's Arrow to play... Slade Wilson, also known as Deathstroke! Bennett is best known as the beefy Crixus in Starz's gory period drama. This is some good casting, people! [EW]

... The OTHER grandpa Winchester is coming to Supernatural. Friday Night Lights actor Gil McKinney will guest-star on the CW show as John Winchester's dad, and because MnKinney looks like he's 20-something years old, you know some time travel will be involved. But here's the twist: Sam and Dean aren't going anywhere, their grandpa is coming to them in the present. [TV Line]

Is the US out to rip-off everything that Moffat does? Do No Harm sounds a lot like Jeckyll.

I'm making $86 an hour working from home. I was shocked when my neighbour told me she was averaging $95 but I see how it works now. I feel so much freedom now that I'm my own boss. This is what I do, cloud68 dOTcom

Keeping with the irony theme, The awesome Kyle Killen's new series Influence has been taken up by ABC. The story is about two brothers a bi-polar genius and a conman, sounds like a hybrid of Awake and Lone Star to me.

Do No Harm, a series on NBC based on a man living two lives.
It'll probably be really good but then so was Awake and look what happened to that!
