What to watch on Friday, June 20...

8:25pm, Disney
Mickey Mouse
"Down the Hatch" sends Mickey and Goofy on a fantastic voyage through Donald's body after they're inadvertently shrunken down to microscopic size. In a related story, Goofy is now rumored to be in talks to take over directing Marvel's Ant-Man movie.

9pm, PBS
Frederick Law Olmsted: Designing America
A profile of the 19th century landscape architect, whose many contributions to American public spaces include co-designing Central Park and designing the U.S. Capitol Grounds.

10pm, NBC
Blackbeard and Lowe partner to save an abducted Kate, though at least one of them has to be mildly concerned that this episode is called “The Man Who Killed Blackbeard.” During their team-up, Lowe realizes that the Commodore is driven by an ulterior motive.

10pm, Syfy
Kiera and John Doe join forces to put the kibosh on the Freelancers in “The Dying MInutes.” Meanwhile, a freshly rescued Scar Alec reunites with Emily, and Carlos determines to seize control of the VPD away from Piron and Dillon.

– Maria Bello and animal expert Bradley Trevor Greive on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, 12:37am, CBS

What to watch on Saturday, June 21...

SEASON 2 FINALE, 9pm, BBC America
Orphan Black
Sarah is ready to throw in the towel when Rachel gains the upper hand in “By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried.” Can the Clone Club pull off one more Hail Mary to wrest Sarah and Kira out of Dyad’s dastardly clutches?

9pm, ABC
The Assets
Hey, remember this show from mid-season? It’s about… spies, or something, I think? [crickets] [tumbleweed] Aaaaanyhoo, it’s back for a summer burn-off, starting with “Trip to Vienna,” which finds the FBI and CIA on the trail of newly outed mole Edward Lee Howard.

9pm, Starz
Ghost and Tasha remain at loggerheads in “This Is Real,” threatening the club’s future. And Ghost frets that pursuing Angela could wind up threatening his family’s well-being, as well. It’s a dangerous time to be in Ghost’s orbit, I think is the takeaway here.

SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm & 10:30pm, BBC America
Almost Royal
BBC America’s first original comedy series follows two bright-eyed and bushy-tailed British aristocrats on a whirlwind tour of the U.S. of A., where they clash with—and, perhaps, learn from?—all manner of bewildered Yanks. Los Angeles and Boston are the first two stops on Georgie and Poppy’s excursion through the ex-colonies.

What to watch on Sunday, June 22...

“Alive Day” finds the Hill brothers commemorating the one-year anniversary of Pete’s near-death experience in Afghanistan. And when Fort McGee’s plans to honor Cody at the annual ball are waylaid by budget cuts, the platoon rallies to give their leader his day in the spotlight by hook or by crook.

In the two-hour season premiere, 12 teams of two family members test their mettle against obstacles like the Classic Sweeper, the snowboarding-themed Shed Zone, and the Big Balls Bonanza, which is baiting me so hard to link to that Archer sound bite that I simply refuse to give it the satisfaction.

Rising Star
Josh Groban, Brad Paisley, Kesha, and Ludacris oversee this live singing competition, in which viewers can vote on each warbler’s performance in real time via an app. I would compare this to a 21st century version of The Gong Show, but I fear that using the phrases “app” and “The Gong Show” in the same sentence might rip a hole in the space-time continuum.

SERIES FINALE, 9pm, Lifetime
Drop Dead Diva
In “It Had to Be You,” Owen and Kim hope to drill some sense into Jane regarding her relationship with Ian, and barring a series revival on Netflix this is pretty much their last chance to get through to her. In other finale business, Kim represents her former temp after he’s axed, and Teri learns that she and Ian share a unpleasant history.

The Escape Artist
The shoe is on the other foot as Burton must try to prove Foyle guilty, while Gardner defends the fiend. Saving himself from a dire fate will require all of the barristers best barristering ability.

The Musketeers
Alexandre Dumas’ famous trifecta embark on a new series of adventures, kicking off with a quest to find a missing messenger in “Friends and Enemies.” But the conniving Cardinal Richelieu has a cunning plan to advance his own station at the expense of Athos, Porthos, and Aramis.

True Blood
Recriminations fly after Bon Temps is attacked by a pack of H-vamps as “Jesus Gonna Be Here” kicks off the final season. Meanwhile, Jessica seeks redemption, Pam seeks answers, and Bill seeks a surprising ally in his clash with vigilantes.

The Last Ship
A U.S. Navy ship is humanity’s last best hope for survival after a virus wipes out most of the species in this action drama from co-executive producer Michael Bay. “Pilot - Phase Six” launches the adventure with the intrepid captain, crew, and two virologists heading for the Arctic.

9pm, Showtime
Nurse Jackie
Jackie sucks it up to attend Kevin’s wedding at Fiona’s behest, even though she’s just as tired of TV weddings as the rest of us by this point in the season. Elsewhere in “Sisterhood,” Akalitus feels the heat from the DEA, Carrie insists on meeting Coop’s mom, and Zoey catches Jackie making a grave error with a patient.

9:30pm, Showtime
The ratings for Santa Monica Cop bode ill for Hank’s continued employment in “Daughter.” Meanwhile, an increasingly strapped Mary takes Stu up on his offer, and Levon ruins Karen’s planned family reunion.

10pm, Showtime
Penny Dreadful
Sir Malcolm, Ethan, and Sembene pull out all the stops to rescue Vanessa in “Possession.” Showtime doesn’t have much more to say about this episode, so I guess I’ll take this opportunity to confess that “Malcolm” is one of those words I can never, ever type correctly on the first try. Damn you, silent second “L”!

Falling Skies
A shiny new Espheni war machine comes heavy at the Masons and the 2nd Mass in “Ghost in the Machine,” forcing the survivors to regroup and devise a new strategy.

10pm, AMC
Halt and Catch Fire
In “Close to the Metal,” the project faces a new and urgent threat even as Cameron gets ready to put the finishing touches on the BIOS. Which is kind of a bummer, she had a bitchin’ Quarterflash song queued up for the big reveal and everything, but whatevs.

And now, let’s all vote to crown the What to Watch Tonight Episode Title of the Week!

I guess I was the only person who liked The Assets. Glad they are finally running the rest of the episodes.
