What to Watch Tonight: Teen Wolf, Under the Dome, and the Season 2 Finale of Beauty and the Beast
What to watch on Monday, July 7...
8pm, ABC Family
Switched at Birth
Having escaped wildlings and White Walkers alike, Toby returns from Iceland with a new lease on life in “And We Bring the Light.” Elsewhere, Bay’s college plans hit a hurdle, Regina is drawn into another ethical quandary on the East Riverside project, and Angelo helps Daphne blow off some steam through baking.
SEASON 2 FINALE, 9pm, The CW
Beauty and the Beast
In “Déjà Vu,” Cat worries that stopping Gabe may mean killing Vincent. But she probably needn’t worry about a title character dying on a show that already has its third-season pickup, unlike some other CW programs. (No, I’m not still bitter about The Carrie Diaries. Why do you ask?)
DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE, 9pm, HBO
Dangerous Acts Starring the Unstable Elements of Belarus
A profile of the Belarus Free Theater, which stages daring and subversive shows that put them in the crosshairs of the nation’s authoritarian regime.
9pm, ABC Family
Callie tries to clear the hurdles lining the road to her adoption in “Say Something,” though she’s less enthused about accelerating her relationship with Wyatt. Elsewhere, Lena goes out for a big promotion and Mariana is distressed to learn the real reason she made the dance team.
When a foreign national is found murdered in a hotel room in “Do Not Disturb,” the team must act swiftly to avoid an international incident. Does this remind anyone else of the time the gang from Night Court narrowly averted war between Andorra and Monaco? Just me, then?
24: Live Another Day
Perhaps the Major Crimes gang could learn a thing or two from Jack Bauer, given that thwarting global crises is old hat for him now. He, Kate, and Mark gear up for a mission to do just that in “Day 9: 9:00 PM-10:00 PM,” while Audrey applies her own skills on the diplomatic front.
Under the Dome
This week on CBS’s pulse-pounding survivalist drama based on the work of America’s preeminent horror wordsmith, the people of Chester’s Mill are menaced by… butterflies! Dum duumm DUUUU—wait, what? [Reads logline for “Infestation” again.] Yep, says right here. Butterfly eggs threatening the crops. Y’know, I think the Dome is just messing with them at this point.
In “Muted,” things heat up when a freshman player jockeys to fill Scott’s position. What? No, I meant on the lacrosse team. Honestly, you people. Off the field, Stilinski probes a homicide.
“My Way to Olympia” profiles participants in London’s 2102 Paralympic Games, including an American archer who uses his feet, a one-handed Norwegian table tennis player, and a paraplegic boccia player from Greece.
“What Do You Really Want?” finds Harry dropping a bombshell on Joss, April passing on a tony dinner invite, and Savi coming to an eye-opening realization. Meanwhile, meeting an alluring man complicates Karen’s secret life, as encounters with alluring men are wont to do.
Good news, everyone! In “Reports of My Death,” a man who had vanished 30 years earlier re-emerges! Ehh whaaa? Dead, you say? Bad news, everyone!
