What to Watch Tonight: 24, the (Mid-)Season Premieres of The Fosters and Switched at Birth, and Louie's Season 4 Finale
What to watch on Monday, June 16...
MID-SEASON PREMIERE, 8pm, ABC Family
Switched at Birth
Bay juggles her feelings for current squeeze Tank and former flame Emmett, while Daphne dons her sleuthing cap to track down the vandal who trashed Regina’s studio. Meanwhile in “Love Among the Ruins,” Melody tries to nip Matthew’s bullying of Emmett in the bud.
8pm, The CW
Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Trenchcoat enthusiast and Tumblr mainstay Misha Collins is the guest-star. Guest-comic Brad Sherwood wonders if he should bring along his reams of Cas/Dean fanfics.
The 18 chefs remaining are tasked with a seafood challenge: First they see food, then they use it to prepare a unique and impressive dish! The losers will face an elimination round, but at least they won’t have to live with the indignity of having just made that joke in a public forum.
SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 9pm, ABC Family
The truth about Callie’s dad throws her future with the family into disarray in “Things Unknown.” Meanwhile, Brandon regrets his dalliance with Dani, Stef questions Mike’s part in Ana’s disappearance, Mariana shakes things up, and Emma’s relationship with Jesus draws a bad reaction from her teammates.
9pm, The CW
Beauty and the Beast
Gabe suspends Cat and Tess in an effort to draw out Vincent in “Cold Case.” I guess that means Cat will have plenty of time to spend with her visiting sister, and maybe catch up on those Hart of Dixie episodes piled up on her DVR.
24: Live Another Day
To prevent Margot from launching more attacks, Jack and President Heller must endure inhuman levels of punishment: marathoning all the unaired episodes of I Wanna Marry Harry. Elsewhere in “Day 9: 6:00 PM-7:00 PM,” Kate goes to great lengths to locate Margot’s lair, and Jordan finds himself in mortal peril (which, I mean, he’s on 24 and he’s not Jack, so he kinda had to expect that).
The murder of a man recently sprung from prison prompts the squad to examine a 17-year-old case in “Personal Day.” Meanwhile, Rusty spills the motives for his odd behavior.
SEASON 4 FINALE, 10pm & 10:30pm, FX
Parts 2 and 3 of “Pamela” concludes the season’s final arc with Louie and Pamela going on a date, and then coming across a bed possessed by a demon spirit that consumes its users alive. Wait, no, that’s the IMDB logline for the 1977 B horror movie Death Bed: The Bed That Eats. Was looking at the wrong tab, sorry.
This documentary chronicles the Egyptian national soccer team’s preparations for the 2014 World Cup against the backdrop of the nation’s recent social and political turbulence.
Savi and Harry’s latest clash ropes Joss into the middle, while Savi’s new nemesis continues to make her work life equally irritating. Elsewhere in “Open House,” Mickey brings his party-planning A-game when April must throw a bash for the parents at Lucy’s school.
Walt spares some time from his murder-investigating schedule to judge a pageant in “Miss Cheyenne.” In presumably less male-gaze-y business, Cady seeks an old friend’s help with Henry’s case.
Murder in the First
“The City of Sisterly Love” finds Terry and Hildy investigating the death of Erich Blunt’s flight attendant, and they’re greeted with a stunning surprise at the autopsy. Could it be that the victim was not a person at all, but in fact a dozen squirrels standing on each other’s shoulders and wearing people clothes? Almost certainly.
10:30pm, Cartoon Network
A viral video of his fight with Granddad makes Stinkmeaner an internet sensation in “Stinkmeaner: Begun the Clone War Has.” But will his fame have the staying power of such online icons as Grumpy Cat, or… that one woman who… or you know, that other guy with the, I wanna say something about a rainbow?
