What to Watch Tonight: Rectify, Undateable, and the Season 2 Premiere of NY Med

What to watch on Thursday, June 26...

7pm, Cartoon Network
Adventure Time
“The Prince Who Wanted Everything” finds Lumpy Space Prince flying the coop in order to start a new life free of his parents. Then Marceline relates a tale about Fionna and Cake in “The Bad Little Boy.”

8pm, Fox
Hell’s Kitchen
The seven remaining chefs whip up dinner for guests from Oxfam America, including Minnie Driver. The producers implore the contestants not to tempt any hoary reference jokes by preparing apple-centric dishes.

8pm, Syfy
Defiance
The town greets Irisa’s return by tossing her in the clink, where she’ll stay unless Nolan can apprehend the nogoodniks whose explosion nearly offed Mayor Pottinger. Elsewhere in “In My Secret Life,” Stahma makes a hard choice in order to maintain control over her family’s criminal operations.

9pm, Sundance
Rectify
Janet and Amantha await word about Daniel, who remains in his induced coma in “Sleeping Giants.” And if I know anything about Rectify, I think that suggests an episode full of surrealistic coma-verse dream sequences, all riddle-talking furniture and giant dancing gummy bears and what not.

9pm, Fox
Gang Related
Attempting to right his fiscal wrongs puts Daniel in a precarious position in “Entre Dos Tierras.” That probably means moonlighting as a children’s birthday party performer, right? Right. Meanwhile, Carlos casts a doubtful eye on Javier’s plans to take the family business legit.

9pm & 9:30pm, NBC
Undateable
In “Low Hanging Fruit,” Justin kicks Danny’s relationship up a notch, while Brett mulls potential nicknames for his genitals. Then in “Daddy Issues,” Danny intervenes between Justin and his visiting father, and Sabrina and Shelly make a high-stakes wager.

9pm, Syfy
Dominion
Alex greets his new designation as humanity’s Chosen One with a hearty and resounding, “Um... pass?” But since it’s too late to recast at this point, he’s stuck with the job, which sends him to protect his loved ones against a new threat in “Godspeed.” In angel affairs, Michael and Gabriel meet one final time before the war against humans resumes.

9pm, ABC
Rookie Blue
As the squad sets out to seize ill-gotten gains in “Heart Breakers, Money Makers,” Andy and Nick’s agenda takes them to an illicit gambling house. But nabbing the proprietor puts them and Sam on the trail of an even bigger case.

SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 10pm, ABC
NY Med
The documentary series returns to chronicle life at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan and University Hospital in Newark, NJ. The way you can tell that this is a nonfiction series? In real life, sometimes it is lupus.

10pm, IFC
Maron
“Mouth Cancer Gig” finds Marc stressing out over an impending road trip, and over the quality of his material. You’d think his distress might be caused by the unfortunate label “mouth cancer gig,” but this I’m pretty sure Marc would get equally bent out of shape about the “happy bunny gig” too.

10:30pm, IFC
Comedy Bang! Bang!
When a youthful new boss lays down the law at Comedy Bang! Bang!, might guest Tony Hawk give the gang a few pointers for dealing with change? Fellow guests Ben Schwartz and Matt Walsh would like to help, but they come from the world of pay-cable comedies where there are no bosses and no rules.
