Watch the First Minute of Revolution's Return Now! (VIDEO)

By Tim Surette

Mar 06, 2013

The last time we saw Revolution's Charlie, Miles, Aaron, Rachel, and Nora (oh, and Danny!), they had just escaped Sebastian Monroe's super-secure facility and were on their way to freedom when all of a sudden a helicopter that'd been powered up with a magic pendant cleared the horizon and was about to unleash hell upon them. They're goners, right? Yep, they're dead.

NBC has released the first minute of the drama's return, due on March 25 (right after the Season 4 premiere of The Voice!), so let's see these guys get totally annihilated.

Wow, they escaped! Thank the lord they got out of that wide-open field pretty fast! But was stopping for a bite to eat while they were under attack really such a good idea? Because it looks like the special of the day was an extra-large serving of missiles. Okay, now they're dead, right?

Revolution returns March 25 at 10pm on NBC.

    Simple question:

Oh wait... it's "Revolution", therefore I have to keep ignoring logic, right?
Sooooooo done with this show; will only read Surette's hilarious recaps on it from now on.

I for one really liked the mid-season final, because it was finally forward progress for the storyline/ characters, not just quest after quest, I'm kind of excited for this to come back!

Tim's (and the others here) reviews are the main reason why this site can not be taken seriously. They seem like they are meant to be "funny" and "cool" more than being serious. I will watch for myself and form my own opinion rather than be a sheep following the hate-crowd...

  • mmmshuddup Mar 13, 2013

exactly! I don't have anything against funny writing or clever lines but I agree. At the end of the day this site, just like all mainstream media, is meant to do all the thinking for you and so you as a viewer/listener/reader come to a conclusion that you did not even arrive at yourself! It's so painfully obvious

  • MightyMad Mar 09, 2013

Furthermore: if you have such a low opinion of (being taken seriously? By whom? Compare to which other site? And why would they care? This is just a silly television review site!) and don't want to hear their opinions on a show... what are you doing here?

I mean, you have every right to come around here and give your OWN views on things... but, if you have such a poor opinion of this place, why are you sticking around?

Hey, personally, if I loathe a site, I ain't gonna bother passing through it at all, let alone leave comments there. 'Just saying...

  • mmmshuddup Mar 13, 2013

You contradicted yourself. If he has the "right to come around here and give his OWN views on things" then there can be so such thing as a "poor opinion."

  • MightyMad Mar 09, 2013

I watched all the first ten episodes of this series... and Surette's completely right: it's an awful show.

I don't watch it, but I still gotta say, thanks NBC for making that viewable world-wide! It's always a nice little surprise when these kinds of videos actually load.

  • Svanehjerte Mar 09, 2013

Revolution is good, definitely better than most shows nowadays that only cares about gore and porn (GoT, TB, BEmpire, Spartacus etc.).

  • DinChild Mar 09, 2013

If gore and porn are the reasons you can't get to the meaty center of quality television, then Revolution was made for you. But the statement you make claiming those shows only care about those attributes is retarded.

  • Svanehjerte Mar 22, 2013

If they didn't, there wouldn't be so much of it. Cheap tricks to lure in the perves (= viewers = good ratings), that's all. It's certainly never needed to include so much porn. It's made for voyeuristic reasons only.

  • Big_Pecks Mar 08, 2013

    Tell me it gets better.

  • MightyMad Mar 09, 2013

Well, the Matheson posse somehow managed to outrun a helicopter while said copter was firing automatic machine guns at them in an open field...

If that sounds like an improvement to you, you are genuinely a way more optimistic person than I am.

  • Liria Mar 08, 2013

This is one case where I like the idea behind the show more than the show itself..
I keep watching in the hopes that it will get better... and maybe they'll kill Charlie or trade her in for some random orphan along the way... :)

  • Liria Mar 08, 2013

    "Yep, they're dead"

Aw, man, you got my hopes up...

  • winterbmine Mar 07, 2013

Looking forward to reading ur review again, I've actually only seen two episodes of the show, but I get enough from your reviews

  • Anonymous_A Mar 07, 2013

    I see mad-pac here, but where's GirishStewart?

  • stanking Mar 08, 2013

GS is storing up venom for the upcoming flame wars part two :)

  • DinChild Mar 09, 2013

I made Girish cry and piss his pants. Sometimes I play too rough :-(
