The first Netflix original series—y’know, for kids—picks up where the DreamWorks film Turbo left off, featuring the voice talents of Grey DeLisle, Phil LaMarr, Ken Jeong, and more. Join the titular speedy snail and his friends for the first five 11-minute episodes today, with more than 50 additional episodes on tap for 2014.

A Christmas Story
Relive the saga of Ralphie and his quixotic quest for a Red Ryder BB gun at any point over the next 24 hours. Or, if you’re a true diehard, watch all 12 airings of the movie right in a row. Who am I to tell you how to live your life?

How the Grinch Stole Christmas
The bad banana with a greasy black peel has one last chance this season to snatch the Christmas spirit away from those pesky Whos down in Whoville. Between you and me, I don’t think this is his year. That's followed at 8:30pm by the live-action film version, Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jim Carrey as the three-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich with arsenic sauce.

It’s a Wonderful Life
Another angel gets its wings during the traditional Christmas Eve airing of Frank Capra’s 1946 classic.

Christmas at Belmont 2013 / Christmas With the Mormon Tabernacle Choir
Mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves leads the caroling and cheer from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, accompanied by students from the Belmont School of Music and the Nashville Children’s Choir. Then, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir welcomes guests including tenor Alfie Boe, Tom Brokaw, and Col. Gail Halvorsen (USAF Ret.), who rained candy from the skies during the 1948–49 Berlin airlift.
