What to watch on Tuesday, October 23...

Your Tuesdays are about to get a whole lot funnier, now that Happy Endings and Don't Trust the B---- are back! But if you also happen to be fan of New Girl and Go On, your Tuesday-at-9pm timeslot is about to get a whole lot more difficult to navigate. Perhaps we should consider Tuesdays the comedy version of "F, Marry, Kill": What will you watch live, what will you DVR, and what will you torrent watch on Hulu come Wednesday? Let's here your reasoning in the comments. In the meantime, here's what else is on TV tonight:

8pm, Fox
Raising Hope
In "If a Ham Falls in the Woods," Will & Grace alum Leslie Jordan makes an appearance as Reverend Bob, who runs a couples retreat attended by Jimmy and Sabrina. But things start to get interesting when Virginia and Burt tag along. And somehow Sabrina’s mom Tamara (returning guest-star Melanie Griffith) and her young boyfriend Roberto (guest-star Wilmer Valderrama) manage to add themselves to the mix as well. (Cue song: "It's a Family Affair" by Sly & the Family Stone.)

Happy Endings
In tonight's season opener, Penny is in an upper-body cast after a serious accident, and Max devotes himself to taking care of her... until he catches a glimpse of her hunky physical therapist, which causes him to lose sight of what's really important. Meanwhile, Brad is keeping secrets from Jane and Dave and Alex are dating again!

Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23
The B---- is back, ya'll! In tonight's "A Reunion" James goes against Chloe's advice and succumbs to June's attempt to facilitate the unimaginable—dare we dream?—a Dawson's Creek reunion. But, along the way, James makes a shocking discovery and encounters some old friends from television's past, including Frankie Muniz, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Dawson's alum Busy Philipps, who naturally will all be playing themselves.

9:30pm, Fox
The X Factor
Last Wednesday's episode of The X Factor was bumped due to a baseball playoffs rain delay, so to make it up to those who were super-pissed about it, Fox has tweaked its Tuesday comedy schedule so it can air the affected one-hour episode and reveal the Top 16 contestants who will perform in the live shows next month. Unfortunately, that means The Mindy Project has been benched until next week. Whose side are you on, Simon Cowell's or Mindy Kaling's?

10pm, NBC
In "I'll Be Right Here," Kristina is sad to learn that Max is giving a speech on the same day as her surgery. Meanwhile Drew is upset about Sarah's decision to move in with Mark, and Ryan asks Amber out on a date. Ah, young love...

Rachel Maddow and Taylor Swift on Late Show with David Letterman, 11:35pm, CBS
Denzel Washington on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, 11:35pm, NBC
Russell Peters and Prince on Jimmy Kimmel Live, 12am, NBC
Tom Hanks, Victoria Justice, and Aimee Mann on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, 12:37am, NBC
Hana Mae Lee on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, 12:37am, CBS

Apartment 23 was fantastic. A lot of respect to James VDB for his willingness to go the whole way with playing that alternate version of himself. Ditto Busy, Frankie and M-P.G.

Enjoyed Happy Endings a lot. Dave and Alex are the weak point of the show, with great chemistry between Jane and Brad ("Loch Ness Monster!"), and of course gay couple, Max and Penny.

underemployed is just bad, it fooled me but is a prime advertisement for birth control! Where do they get all their money? Do they know anything about the economy?

For those of you who watch the MTV show "Awkward", after seeing that picture of Busy Phillips, she totally should play Sadie Saxton's big sister or something. They look so much alike lol
