What to watch on Wednesday, March 20...

8pm, The CW
Arrow
A shiny new nickel to anyone who can guess what happens in “The Huntress Returns.” Anyone? No? Okay, I’ll tell you: Oliver meets Booster Gold and Skeets! (Fine, not really.) But Helena isn’t the only one popping up in Starling City, as Laurel grapples with the return of her mother and electro musician Steve Aoki inaugurates Oliver’s new nightclub.

9pm, The CW
Supernatural
In “Goodbye Stranger,” Sam and Dean discover that Crowley is trying to torture the location of Lucifer’s crypt out of Meg, and that he’s also got a squad of recon demons searching for said crypt in a small town. Crowley gets more evil done before 9am than most people do all day, I think is the moral here.

9pm, CBS
Criminal Minds
The victims of the week in “The Gathering" had, according to the episode synopsis, documented their personal lives on blogs and social media—which, as defining characteristics go, is about on par with saying, “were born after 1985.” These crazy kids today, with their social media-ing and their getting murdered-ing, am I right?

9pm, NBC
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
“Undercover Blue” finds a woman accusing Cassidy of raping her during his time undercover, and his attorney’s defense strategy leads to unexpected consequences for Amaro. Meanwhile, the SVU team gets anxious with regard to how the charges will affect the trial of Bart Ganzel, in which Cassidy was set to testify.

9:30pm, ABC
Suburgatory
Afraid she’ll always be overshadowed in George and Tessa’s minds by the ex-Mrs. Altman, Dallas dives into an eating binge alongside Jill. Elsewhere in “Eat, Pray, Eat,” Tessa fears that the cruel ravages of age are washing over her, while Noah discovers a surprising fact about his shrink.

SEASON 3 FINALE, 10pm, Comedy Central
Workaholics
Alice introduces an automated phone system at the office, leading Blake to extrapolate all kinds of terrors about a dystopic future governed by cold, unfeeling machines. Chances that Comedy Central has blown open the budget doors so “The Future Is Gnar” can regale us with CGI-heavy, Terminator-esque visions of that future? Three percent.

10pm, USA
Psych
If it weren’t awesome enough that Juliet’s dad is William Shatner, we learn in “No Country for Two Old Men” that her stepfather is Jeffrey Tambor. Shawn tries to strike up a bond with the apparently milquetoast man, who may have a shadier past than he lets on.

10pm, FX
The Americans
An assassin is targeting valuable American scientists in “Mutually Assured Destruction,” and both the Jennings duo and the FBI intend to put the kibosh on all that. Making things messier for Elizabeth, Grannie divulges the full truth about Philip and Irina’s recent New York mission.

10pm, TNT
Southland
“Bleed Out” forces the cops to engage with their greatest fears. As a baby’s death weighs heavily on Lydia, Ben juggles affections for both Brooke and Elena while Sammy’s set-to with Tammy comes to the attention of Internal Affairs. Meanwhile, Cooper turns to Hicks (guest-star Gerald McRaney) for solace after a taxing day.

LATE-NITE:
– Mel Brooks and Kristen Schaal on Conan, 11pm, TBS
– Gerard Butler on Chelsea Lately, 11pm, E!
– Vanessa Hudgens, Chris O'Dowd, and Gary Clark Jr. on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, 11:35pm, NBC
