What to Watch Tonight: SYTYCD, State of Georgia, and Hot in Cleveland
What to watch on Wednesday, August 3.
It's day #3 in this arduous trek we call a working week. Tonight it's definitely time to stop and take a cool, refreshing sip from our TV canteens. You know?
So You Think You Can Dance
The season's nearly over, you guys! Only two more weeks! Tonight the top six contestants will dance and tomorrow two will be kicked off. To me the only remaining suspense is whether Melanie or Sasha will win, but who knows, maybe Tadd will charm his way in there. Anyway tonight we'll get a new roster of All-Stars plus guest judges Christina Applegate (yay!) and Lil' C (ugh).
4 NEW EPISODES, 9-11pm, ABC Family
State of Georgia
For some reason ABC Family's burning off tons of new episodes tonight, first with a pair of all-new Melissa & Joeys and then FOUR all-new episodes of State of Georgia. Either they really want you to start watching this thing, or they've decided you're never gonna watch this thing. Plotlines include Georgia and Jo trying to get into a hot nightclub, and also Georgia trying to help her poverty-stricken aunt make ends meet. Now THAT is so Raven. (?)
All your outstanding bets with friends and family will finally be settled tonight when Deadliest Warrior stages a hypothetical battle between U.S. Army Rangers and North Korean Special Ops Forces. You are gonna be so embarrassed about betting on North Korea!
Tonight Dani assists an extreme-sports athlete whose anxiety nightmares plague his performances, plus she'll get mentally prepared to see her ex at their high school reunion. (Quick question: Doesn't Dani have Facebook? Who goes to high school reunions anymore??)
10pm, TV Land
Hot in Cleveland
Joy helps Victoria play tons of pranks on her co-anchor down at the TV station; Melanie's new boyfriend wants to lick her feet all day; Elka returns from Europe with surprising news. "Please, I'm so tired." —Betty White
