What to Watch Tonight: The Obamas on Nightline, The Kennedy Center Hours, and a Ben and Kate Mini-marathon

What to watch on Wednesday, December 26...

8pm, Fox
Ben and Kate
If you haven’t yet given this utterly winning freshman sitcom a shot—and based on its microscopic ratings, chances are you haven’t—tonight’s four-episode mini-marathon is a great chance to catch up. Offerings include “Reunion,” “The Fox Hunt,” “21st Birthday,” and “Scaredy Kate,” the last of which features, without question, the sexiest baseball player/Supreme Court justice mash-up on TV all year.

8pm, BBC America
The Hour
The discovery of a source’s body raises the stakes in the team’s battle with Cilenti’s criminal network. While Bel calls a halt to the investigation, Freddie is driven to pursue a new lead tied to the government’s proposed nuclear bases.

8pm, HBO
Game of Thrones
The North remembers... but do you? If you need a refresher on all the intrigue, swordplay, rampant nudity, and itinerant dragon-seeking from Game of Thrones Season 2, HBO will be replaying all ten episodes over the next few days, starting with the first three—”The North Remembers,” “The Night Lands,” and “What Is Dead May Never Die”—tonight.

9pm, CBS
The Kennedy Center Honors
Caroline Kennedy hosts the 35th annual commemoration of the very best in American arts and letters. Honorees include Buddy Guy, Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, Natalia Makarova, and surviving Led Zeppelin members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones. Among those slated to present and perform are the Foo Fighters, Alec Baldwin, Robert DeNiro, Tina Fey, Morgan Freeman, Jimmy Kimmel, Naomi Watts, Ray Romano, Jack Black, and Jeff Beck.

10pm, TV Land
Hot in Cleveland
If this episode fully delivers on the promise of its title, “A Box Full of Puppies,” it might be worth dealing with the 22 minutes' worth of 1990-esque sitcom shenanigans. Then again, since the synopsis says that Elka gives Mamie flirting lessons while at the vet, one hopes the episode will not involve Betty White attempting to woo said box full of puppies.

11:35pm, ABC
In a special installment of the newsmagazine, Barbara Walters visits the White House to sit down with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their first joint interview since November’s election. Afterward, Mrs. Obama will give Barbara—and the ABC viewing audience—the grand tour of the White House Christmas decorations, with presidential pooch Bo firmly in tow. Fingers crossed the cameras pick up a glimpse of Washington's other big tradition, Joe Biden clad in a Santa suit stuffing six-packs into everyone’s stockings.

This is one of those weeks when I watch things I've recorded, but I'd watch the TV with no power before the Barbara Walters interview.

Would you people quit listing shows to watch when they don't air for another week. American Horror Story is one for example.
