A White House Christmas: First Families Remember
Meredith Viera hosts this look at Christmas in the White House, which features interviews with first ladies Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Bush, and Rosalyn Carter, plus a behind-the-scenes look at the huge task of decorating America's most famous address. C'mon, Babs, tell us that old knee-slapper about the time Millie pooped under the tree!


SEASON FINALE PART II, 8pm, Fox
The X Factor
Had your fill of The X Factor’s supersized finale extravaganza after last night’s performance show, you say? Well, what if I told you that tonight’s two-hour final results show features performances by One Direction and Pitbull before hosts Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez? How does that strike your fanc—wait, where are you going? I’ve got like five more shows to talk about! Hey, you dropped your hat!

CMA Country Christmas
Jennifer Nettles returns to host this two-hour smorgasbord of holiday songs and memories, courtesy of country music’s biggest stars. Slated performers include Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, and Keith Urban.


SEASON 6 FINALE, 9pm, USA
Burn Notice
In the two-hour finale “You Can Run,” Michael must rescue Sam and Jesse from their captors while finding a way to eliminate the threat against him once and for all. Psst, Michael. You may want to start with the Burn Notice writers’ room. They’re the ones who've been throwing all these dangers at you this whole time!

2012: The End Is Now
Decoded host Brad Meltzer explores ancient doomsday prophecies (including one you may have heard of due to hit any day now), modern science, human behavior, and the myriad ways they may someday conspire to wipe every last one of us off the face of the planet. Good tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joyyyyyy.


SERIES FINALE, 10pm, MTV
Jersey Shore
Cabs are here! But this time they'll whisk away The Meatballs, The Situation, and the rest of the Jersey Shore gang for good. We're guessing most of you won't miss them, but to those of you who will, well, Snooki has a kid now. It's time.


SEASON 8 FINALE, 10pm, FX
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The gang stages a trial at Paddy’s Pub to resolve a dispute between Frank and Dennis in “Reynolds vs. Reynolds: The Cereal Defense.” Expect this landmark case to make its way as high as the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, or possibly to the alley behind the bar.


SEASON 4 FINALE, 10:30pm & 11pm, FX
The League
FX continues to crank out back-to-back episodes of The League, enabling it to kill two late-December-holiday birds with one stone tonight. First, “A Krampus Carol” sees Jeff Goldblum return as Ruxin’s uber-Goldblum-y dad; then Taco throws a New Year’s bash in “The Curse of Shiva” at 11pm.

    I kept saying its time for Jersey Shore to end, but after last night finale... I wish it hadn't lol. I WILL miss it... Not really into reality shows, but I appreciated how real it was. So long...
