What to Watch Tonight: The Vampire Diaries, Person of Interest, and The Secret Circle
What to watch on Thursday, February 2...
Is it THURSDAY yet? See what happened is, I replaced "Friday" with "Thursday" because Thursday's TV is SO GOOD. But to answer that question, yes, it's Thursday. Yippee:
The Vampire Diaries
After taking a week off due to recover from awesomeness exhaustion, TVD returns tonight to finally reveal Elijah's new haircut! Meanwhile Sheriff Forbes continues looking into the murder of the Medical Examiner (aw, isn't she cute?) and Bill Forbes has an unfortunate encounter with the business end of a steak knife (thanks for that spoiler, CW promo department!).
Tonight Liz and Jack get down to the nitty gritty of her new employment contract, plus Kenneth continues looking for page work outside of NBC. Meanwhile Tracy and Jenna agree to provide entertainment for their accountant's son's Bar Mitzvah. Sounds like times are tough for everyone, you know? #politics
Person of Interest
Zoe's back! Hey where you been, girl? Anyway, tonight Reese teams up with Zoe to help prevent bad times for a particularly unlucky person of interest. Whoa that's the title, how'd that happen?
The Secret Circle
Tonight we'll see the aftermath of TSC's last (stellar) episode: Cassie enlists the circle to help deal with the witch hunter threat, plus Faye and Melissa dabble in a terribly dangerous witch drug. Which drug? Witch drug. Also Cassie accidentally reveals her true preference in the Adam vs. Jake situation. Haha, please.
SERIES PREMIERE, 11pm, MTV
I Just Want My Pants Back
After last year's sneak preview following the VMAs, MTV finally unveils its newest dramedy series I Just Want My Pants Back, the NYC-set slacker coming-of-age saga based on a novel by David J. Rosen. And it looks pretty good? In tonight's official premiere, a guy named Jason has a one-night stand with a pretty lady who steals his jeans. Youth, am I right? Go forth.
SERIES 3 PREMIERE, 12am, Cartoon Network
For the past few years Delocated! has been one of Adult Swim's weirdest and hardest-to-watch comedies, and that's saying something. But it's also one of the network's funniest, which is no surprise given it's from the makers of Wonder Showzen. In tonight's Season 3 premiere, witness-protected reality TV subject Jon adjusts to his new life in semi-anonymity on the run from the Russian mafia. P.S. Here's the slightly incredible new title sequence:
