  • Biography
  • Upon graduating from high school, George O. Gore II was on his way to college to study finance with dreams of becoming an investment banker. But his plans were altered and his life forever changed when he landed the coveted role of Jr. on My Wife and Kids. A native of Fort Washington, Maryland, George has been acting since the age of four. He made his debut in a Burger King commercial, and soon amassed over 20 national commercials to his credit for such leading brands as Fisher-Price and IBM. His television credits include guest roles on Law & Order and Touched By an Angel. But he is perhaps best remembered as "G," the young son of Malik Yoba's character, on the critically acclaimed drama series New York Undercover, for which he received three NAACP Image Award nominations. George is totally different from his character on My Wife and Kids, which is a testament to his natural acting ability. In real life he is a charming, handsome young man with poise, intelligence and a laid-back style. Determined to do things on his own terms, he has plans to venture behind-the-scenes to direct and produce in the near future. He cites Ron Howard, who made the successful transition from child actor to award-winning director, as one of his role models. In his spare time, George plays basketball, rides motorcycles and practices boxing. His favorite movies include the Austin Powers series, Ocean's Eleven, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and practically anything starring Ben Stiller. He enjoys comedy and has plans to do more work in that genre.moreless
