  • Joe was nominated for the Writers' Guild Of America Anthology Episode/Single Program Award for "The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde" (1989) in 1991.

  • Joe won the Science Fiction And Fantasy Writers Of America Bradbury Award for Babylon 5 in 1999.
