  • John Noble: I am very grateful when people do respond to the work I do. It feels to me like two way traffic. I certainly always do my absolute best, in fact I think I am a bit obsessive, I'm always thinking about the details. I love my work and I think that might come through some times. That's what people pick up on too and they talk to me about the details in attempting to be very truthful in what I do and the characters I play. My thought to them is thank you and I'm going to keep trying to do the best I can do and I hope they keep watching it.

  • John Noble: (about signing a 6 year contract for Fringe) I didn't. It was something that my wife and I discussed. We're at the stage now where our kids are grown up so we've treated it like a great adventure and it's turned out so far to be exactly that. We're having the time of our lives.

  • John Noble: (about the possibility of being type cast as a villain) It's nice to be able to work. Some people see me as a villain and offer me that type of role and I will play it. I am sure I will play more villains in the future.

  • John Noble: (answering a question about his favorite line from the Pilot of Fringe) I don't know It was a beauty, wasn't it? "It's just a squirt." It's classic, it was so simple and a such a poignant line. I think it's becoming a favorite. That and "let's make some LSD." people are saying oh my god I love those lines. I have some more good lines, but you'll just have to wait and see what they are.

  • John Noble: (about his character on Fringe) You know most of us live with boundaries around, this mans boundaries are different so he behaves, differently. The fact that he's recognized as insane means that he can get away with things a lot of other characters can't. And so can I!
