    • Chad Gracey (to Toazted.com): The European fans love music and they don't care what it is and the Americans are a little more judgmental and picky... but it's all good.

    • Patrick Dahlheimer (to Toazted.com): The commercial side of Live is in a business that's full of building stars and of making somebody seem more than what they are. It sort of builds up the ego. We constantly have to try to shun that off and get rid of it to stay normal.

    • Chad Gracey (to Drummer's Digest): I’ve always paid attention to the melodies and worked my way of playing into that, so in a way I would say that I’m more of a melodic drummer than a technical one. But I learn stuff when needed, like if I hear something someone else does, I’ll learn that and apply it when we’re working on new stuff.

    • Chad Gracey (to Drummer's Digest): When we recorded Songs from Black Mountain, Ed recorded his vocal and guitar parts to a click-track and then I would come in, take a couple of hours and figure out my parts. So it was an easier process compared to Throwing Copper when we all stood in the same room and played the songs together. It’s one of those records that you never really can live up to because it just got so big. We didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, we just recorded it and it reflected us where we were at that time.
