Quotes (14)

  • Cadpig: What do you mean you're moving out tonight? Rolly: I told you! I'm not going to stay where I'm not wanted. Lucky: But you're gonna miss out. Nanny ordered us a heap of treats. Rolly: I don't want your treats! You called me a pig, you treat me like a pig, so I'm gonna go be a pig! Cadpig: Well...good! That leaves more food for us! Spot: Yeah, and more room!

  • Cadpig: Today is the honeymoon phase. Tomorrow, divorce pork.

  • Cadpig: And now for the second phase of the grieving process... anger!

  • Cadpig: You know, I think we've entered the third phase of grief - blame, and I blame both of you!

  • Cadpig: That's a Steven?

  • Rolly: Thanks a lot, Cadpig! I nearly had the kibble thrown out of me!

  • Swamp Rat (after he stops Steven from closing his mouth on him): Save it for the chicken!

  • Lucky: Didn't I tell you not to use the tree after eating? Now we're going to miss "Thunderbolt". Rolly: I think I'm retaining water. Lucky: I think you're retaining donuts! Rolly: Are you calling me fat? Lucky: If the tree fits.

Notes (3)

  • This episode marks Two-Tone's first speaking appearance, and the first time her name is mentioned.

  • "It's a Swamp Thing" is one of the very few episodes of the series that has a laugh track.

  • If you look carefully, when Rolly is packing his stuff, one of the things he packed was a Mickey Mouse doll.

Trivia (4)

  • Cydne is named after one of the series' co-producers, Cydne Clark.

  • How did the main pups get their collars back in future episodes? (Editor's Note: Roger and Anita probably bought them new collars when they found out.)

  • Due to the fact that this series ran on syndication, the order in which episodes aired was tremendously flawed. In the episode "It's a Swamp Thing", the Dalmatians are supposed to meet the swamp denizens for the first time, such as Swamp Rat, Cydne and Steven despite the fact that there were episodes aired earlier on that already had these characters in them, so viewers who watched the series from the first episode shown would be confused.

  • While Rolly is talking to Two-Tone, Lucky's ears suddenly turn white.

Allusions (1)

  • "Roll Out The Pork Barrel" is a parody of the song "Roll Out The Barrel", written by Jaromir Vejvoda.
