As expected, Liz Lemon finds a way to avoid contact with men on this romantic holiday, but her plan never ends up prevailing. I liked the cameos with Drew, Dennis and Floyd, but they just showed me how great the arcs with these gentlemen were and how the show needs to get her boyfriend again. It's odd that the main star of a show hasn't really had any direction in over a year, but that is the case with her.
I can't stand Elizabeth Banks, and I actually feel the opposite way about Jack that I do with Liz. All these arcs with his girlfriends (CC, Nancy and Salma Hayek, whatever her character's name was) have been less than exhilirating and I would just prefer him as the crazy Republican boss of Liz and not in constant search of love.
As for the rest of the show, pretty forgettable from me. Good episode overall, but not as funny as I know it can be, if that makes any sense.moreless
Bon Jovi, Root Canals, and Avery Jessup.
This episode had many moments that were great. I liked the cameos and Liz Lemon and Jonathan were funny. Jenna's plot was awesome and the montage was great, it was so gut-busting. However, that moment didn't make up for the moments that weren't so good. Avery was an okay character, nothing funny and I miss season one's business/no relationship focus (except for the end but...) and I want that back. Bon Jovi, well thank goodness it was a cameo. A bad one, but a short clip none the less that I hope may have brought viewers. Not as funny as the other NBC shows but still good.moreless
