  • This episode would've been alright if only by one huge mistake made at the end of the episode by show creator Brenda Hampton who wrote this episode. I couldn't beleive it.

    • Peter: You were not nice drunk, and the two or three times I remember you even being sober you were not nice then either. You stink as a father, and you stink as a husband.

    • Lucy to Kevin: "Can't you get in trouble for running cheks on people all the time with no reason?" Kevin to Lucy: "Yes, but that doesn't keep you and your family from asking me to do it all the time."

    • Kevin to Lucy: "What? We have milk!"

    • Lucy to Kevin: "We have cookies, we don't have milk."

    • Lucy to Kevin: "Do you fell like a cookie? I feel like a cookie."

    Trivia (2)

    • Nitpick: Vic's car is very reminescent of the Camdens' old station wagon.

    • Nitpick: In this episode Paris and Peter reveal that Vic hadn't been around for 3 years due to his drinking problems. But in episode "Lost Souls" last season when Peter is first introduced they made it clear that Peter's father was away, but still in their lives and not an alcoholic. Where did it come from?

    Allusions (2)

    • Peter to Kevin: ""If I wanted to talk to a shrink I would've gone to one."
Peter is talking to Kevin over his father coming back into his life and discussing that he'd rather go to him than a "shrink" advice. A shrink is another term to describe a therpaist who is a mediator when hearing out a particular person (s) or groups problems.

    • Vic to Eric: "Isn't that Alcoholics Anonymous?"
Vic tries to clarify with Eric on him being in AA (Alcoholics Anonymous). Alcoholics Anonymous is a support group where alcoholics and former alcoholics come together to discuss their situations and their recovering process of drinking and building their lives up again.
