  • Although Lucy's priceless "drama queen" ways were in top form, the episode showed some true potential

  • We find out some interesting things in this episode. And Lucy goes a little wacky in church, too. There's a mistake she'll never forget. And Martin let us know something very interesting about Sandy. And apparently Sandy had something to say about Martin, too.

    • Kevin: What are you guys doing? Lucy: Well, I told you that Savannah took an extra-long nap this afternoon and that she wasn't going to be able to sleep tonight. Kevin: She does that sometimes. Sometimes, she takes a little bit of a longer nap than usual. It's okay, Luce. Lucy: Yeah, it's fine, but then she doesn't sleep at night!

    • Sandy: (to Martin) Like you had any good reason for sleeping with me, either! You just hadn't done it yet and you wanted to just get it over with!

    • Martin: I don't want you dating Simon or anyone else. Sandy: Yeah, well, maybe my life isn't about what you want. Maybe it's about what I want!

    • Annie: (about Lucy) She'll come around, Kev. Kevin: I don't think she's going to come around anytime soon, and I'm tired of her being angry all the time. I mean, I understand it, but I'm tired of it.

    • Sandy: (on phone with a very curt Lucy): Martin came up to visit us this weekend, and I don't know what to do. Lucy: About what? Sandy: About Martin....all of a sudden, he thinks we're supposed to get married or something. Lucy: Oh yeah? Sandy: Yeah. I mean, he's just so....I don't know....young. Lucy: Hmm. Well, you know, he's not any younger than he was when you slept with him. You know, in fact, he's a year older. Sandy: Um....yeah, I guess he is. Okay, well, I'm sorry I bothered you. Lucy: You know, you're gonna have to get used to handling your own problems if you ever want to help other people with their problems.

    • This is the first episode to air on the CW Network since the merge of the WB and UPN.

    • On September 18, 2006 it was announced that 7th Heaven was renewed for a full season of 22 episodes, instead of 13.

    • After the CW network un-cancelled and renewed 7th Heaven after the now default WB network, some regular cast members opted out of returning to the series when new contracts were constructed to lower the show's budget and salaries of cast and crew. David Gallagher (Simon) declined to return to the series as regular unlike last season.

    Allusions (1)

    • The episode title, "Turn, Turn, Turn" is a song by The Byrds, a musical group that was popular in the 60's and 70's. It was also part of Eric's sermon the first episode and an example used by Annie when she was talking to Lucy about getting her period for the first time.
