    • This was Willie Aames' first credited television role. He plays the young boy who witnesses the robbers' getaway.

    • Malloy & Reed used a 1971 Plymouth Satellite as their patrol car, for only one season of the show, the fourth.

    • New Mark VII and Universal production slates made their debut with this episode. The Mark VII slate did not use the famous "hammer and brand" seen in Webb's other shows; this slate would last for just the 1971-1972 and 1972-1973 seasons.
