    • Crazed Mental Patient: (about returning to the institution, away from the two "psychos") I want to go back! It's safe there!

    • [Closing Narration] Alfred Hitchcock: (no longer blindfolded) That's all for this evening. Uh, I think we shall be back at another time for another story. Until then, good night. (camera focuses in on bullet holes in the wall around Hitchcock)

    • [Opening Narration] Alfred Hitchcock: (blindfolded) Good evening. You will excuse me if I speak rapidly, for I haven't much time. I am playing some idiotic children's game. I am supposed to stand against this wall, blindfolded, with my hands tied behind me. While I am standing here waiting for something to happen, you may watch tonight's drama, "The Dangerous People." I shall join you later.
