Strangers in a train station - do they have anything to fear more than fear itself?
Paranoia is at the core of this beautifully-handled episode. Essentially, it's a two-hander, a chance for a virtuoso double-act by lead actors Albert Salmi and Robert H. Harris. Each man knows that a killer is on the loose, someone who might be mistaken for an ordinary commuter. Salmi and Harris don't know each other, there's nobody else around and each man is a little... jumpy. Or is it nervousness? Might one of them be feigning a display of nerves to cover twitchy psycho signifiers? You won't have too much difficulty in working out where this segment is going, but getting there is very satisying.moreless
