  • Quotes (2)

    • Alfred Hitchcock: Oh, good evening friends, Romans, countrymen. I've just unearthed some items that may be of vast archaeological importance. (holds them up) Two fig leaves and a half-eaten apple. Tonight's play is not about fig leaves, but it does have a scene in a garden. It's called "The Rose Garden" and it's concerned with two elderly sisters in a Magnolia-scented house in Louisiana.

    • [Closing Narration] Alfred Hitchcock: So much for the literary scent. And now, we must interrupt our program while we prepare the next play for production. I shall see you then. Good night.

    Notes (1)

    • The outside of the sisters' plantation home is the same one used in the set of "Premonition" from season one.
