    • [Closing Narration] Alfred Hitchcock: (lying on the psychologist's couch, snoring) Psycologist: (looks down at Hitchcock, then gestures to the camera Sh-h-h.

    • [Opening Narration] Alfred Hitchcock: (lying on a psychologist's couch, with a doctor listening) Then I dreamed I was in a huge theatre, where one of my motion pictures was being shown. But the theatre was absolutely empty - not a full seat anywhere. On one wall was a gigantic mirror, and when I looked into it, I didn't see my own face. I saw my wife's. I supposed I accidentally wondered into her dream. Psychologist: That's not unusual. Do you and your wife sleep in double beds...or in twin beds? Alfred Hitchcock: Both. She has a twin. I sleep in a double bed. Psychologist: Of course. Alfred Hitchcock:And then I dreamed ...(takes note of the camera) Oh, good evening. As you can see, this week, I'm very pressed for time. However, I'll be glad to squeeze you in for our customary session. Tonight's story is about a man, who's driving ambition is to become a widower. It is called "The Three Dreams of Mr. Lindlater."
