  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Notes (7)

    • This is the first season to not have a Top 13/12/10 performance during the Finale. This is not including Season 2 where Corey Clark was not there due to disqualification and Josh Gracin was called on duty in the military, Season 4 where Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice did not sing with the other Top 12 contestants and Season 11, where Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez did not perform with the other Top 13 contestants and Jermaine Jones was not there due to disqualification, as there were still performances by the group as a whole, for the most part. However, they all did perform in the Top 2 Performance episode.

    • For the first time since Season 4, Nick Boddington does not come out to hand Ryan the final results, as he had been replaced by Jason George as CEO of Interscope.

    • Caleb is the second Winner to have previously audition. He auditioned twice before in Season 10 and 11, and actually appeared for a bit in both. Season 12 Winner, Candice was the other Winner to have previously audition and like Caleb she auditioned twice before Winning.

    • Caleb is the second Winner to have auditioned in Atlanta. The other was Season 3 Winner Fantasia. This is the first time ever that there have been two Winner's audition in the same city.

    • This is the second time ever the Top 2 have had a duet before the finale, however this is the first time they also had a duet IN the finale. Season 10 Top 2 didn't do a duet in the finale but did twice during the season.
