    • Dylan: A nap. Huh, someday.

    • Beka: Meanwhile, we have an invasion on our hands. First thing we'll have to figure out, is what do they want. (Several men walk around the corner) Rommie: Oh good, we can ask them!

    • Doyle: As a android, I can adjust my internal cooling systems, making me the best candidate. Rommie: (Clears throat and waves) Not the only android! Doyle: And her.

    • (Dylan gestures down the corridor)
      Dylan: Fusion chamber's this way.
      Rhade: How do you know?
      Dylan: 'Cause I'm a Paradine.
      Rhade: Really?
Dylan: Nah; I just saw a sign that said 'Fusion Chamber'.

    Allusions (2)

    • Stargate SG-1:
After Burma gains entry to Andromeda, his eyes glow a yellow/gold color and his voice sounds deeper and more mysterious. This is a reference to the Goa'uld in Stargate SG-1 who also had the same features. Furthermore, the actor who plays Burma (Hiro Kanagawa) appeared in two episodes of Stargate SG-1's eighth season as a Goa'uld, and the episode was also directed by Martin Wood, a frequent director of Stargate SG-1.

    • Rommie: We are not the droids you're looking for.
This is a frequently quoted line from Star Wars Episode IV, spoken by Obi-Wan Kenobi. The actual quote is "These aren't the droids you're looking for." Rommie's hand movement is also an allusion to the Jedi Mind Trick from the Star Wars universe.
