    • Narrator: On the next Arrested Development, Buster and Gob find themselves closer than ever. Doctor: And there you are, we've removed the hook, and there's been no damage. Gob: Oh, Thank God. Doctor: Yeah, he's gonna be fine. But unfortunately, you've still got a hook in your ass.

    • Lucille: How's my son? Doctor: He's going to be all right. Lindsay Funke: Finally some good news from this guy. George Michael Bluth: There's no other way to take that. Doctor: That's a great attitude. I got to tell you, if I was getting this news, I don't know that I'd take it this well. Lucille: But you said he was all right. Doctor: Yes, he's lost his left hand. So he's going to be "all right." Lucille: [Jumping on the doctor] You son of a bitch! I hate this doctor!

    • Buster: A seal didn't bite your Linus off, right? Michael: No, a seal didn't bite my Linus off.

    • George Michael: Ann's off with her religious group trying to get Nip/Tuck taken off the air. Michael: They don't like Nip/Tuck? George Michael: Well, you know, they don't like anything. Something about God wants people to age naturally, or I don't know. Ironically, she likes Gangy.

    • Gob: I think I'm responsible for Buster's hand. Maeby: Yeah, and I'm responsible for an 80 million dollar movie without an ending. Gob: I know those problems seem big when you're a kid, Maeby.

    Notes (3)

    • The music regularly heard over the end credits are replaced by a "Hot Cops" song.

    • Rating: 3.8/5

    • This and Part 1 were aired part of a 1-hour block on March 6th from 8:30-9:30PM ET.

    Trivia (6)

    • Outside of Maggie's house, Michael tells George Michael "We're like a team. We're like Red McGibon & Bullet". This is a reference to the radio and movie serial that Uncle Jack (from the episode "Ready, Aim, Marry Me") starred in.

    • While they are sitting outside of Maggie's house, Michael makes a call to trace the number that was left on her door. When getting off of the phone, he says "Thank you, Mr. Parmesan". This means that Michael called the family's private detective Gene Parmesan, who appeared in the episode "Amigos". Also, the "You're Killing Me, Buster" sign was seen in that episode.

    • In typical Hollywood fashion, Maeby's film of Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea has been given the name The Young Man and the Beach.

    • Spoiler alert!: Michael acts surprised when the gay cops uncover the bundle and find it's not a baby, but he must have known. He snatched the bundle away from Maggie in a way that would have hurt a real baby, plus there's no way the fat suit in the bundle had the weight and consistency of a real baby.

    • Spoiler alert!: Maggie moves to have the fat case thrown out when Barry lifts up Loretta's shirt, but since she is representing the plaintiff, she should naturally not want the case thrown out, because then her client wouldn't get any money.

    Allusions (2)

    • Ford salesman: The Bronco's been discontinued. We're trying to shed that whole 'fugitive on the run' thing.
This is a reference to the O.J. Simpson freeway chase in a Bronco just before his arrest.

    • George Michael: Ann's off with her religious group trying to get Nip/Tuck taken off the air.
Nip/Tuck is a show that premiered in 2003 and airs on F/X. The show is very controversial, centering around doctors of plastic surgery.
