    • Tommy: Will you go out with me? Like, on a date?
Laurel: You brought me dinner to ask me to dinner?
Tommy: Well--well I also did throw you a really big charity gala.
Laurel: See, I thought you threw it for the hundreds of people that would benefit.
Tommy: Yeah, yeah, yeah, hundreds of people... plus one more.

    • Laurel: What, is it too spicy for you, Merlyn?
Tommy: No, no, not really. I'm, just, um, I'm just crying because I was thinking of a Hallmark commercial featuring a sick kitty. It was very emotional.

    • Oliver: I have a confession. I didn't want to go out with you tonight.
Helena: That makes two of us.
Oliver: I'm really glad I did.
Helena: That makes two of us.

    • Thea: I'm sorry if I was a bitch with you earlier.
Oliver: There were a few times. Could you be more specific?
      Thea: Don't push it.

    • Huntress

The Huntress first appeared in DC Super Stars #17 (Nov/Dec 1977) and was created by Paul Levitz and Joe Staton. She came from the parallel world of Earth-2, where she was the daughter of that world's Batman and Catwoman. After her mother was killed, Batman retired and Helena donned a costume and brought her mother's killer to justice. She later joined the Justice Society of America and was killed during the Crisis. Post-Crisis, the Huntress is Helena Bertinelli (first appearance Huntress #1, April 1989), born in Gotham City into a leading family in the Mafioso. In what came to be known as the Palm Sunday Massacre, Helena's family was assassinated. She fled to Sicily where she received training from her cousin before returning to Gotham. As the Huntress, Helena's extreme vigilantism crossed the line and put her at odds with Batman but he later invited her to join the Justice League to moderate her anger. He later kicked her out when she almost killed someone, but she remains in Gotham and works with the Birds of Prey on occasion. During the 2011 DC reboot, she received a modified origin and is tied to Earth-2. In all incarnations, the Huntress was a skilled martial artist and used a collapsible crossbow with anesthetic darts.

    Allusions (2)

    • Title: Referencing the opening line of Henry V: "O! for a Muse of fire, that would ascend the brightest heaven of invention."

    • Nick: This isn't about money, Richie Rich.
Referencing the world's richest kid, who first appeared in Little Dot #1 (September 1953). The only child of multimillionaire parents, Richie is nonetheless kind and generous. Along with his girlfriend Gloria Glad and friends Freckles and Pee-Wee Friendly, Richie has many exciting adventures.

It's really easy to find. I typed "Song at the end of Muse of Fire" into google & found the answer on the 2nd link from the top

That was kinda cool. I didn't see it coming either. It was a relief for me because I could get on board with Barrowman developing as Merlyn alot faster than trying to justify trust fund Tommy someday snapping nemesis-style.

Tommy's father: well, didn't see that coming.
