    • Arthur: (reading headline in Francine's newspaper) "New Sugar Bowl Awning Gets Cleaned." Is that really news? Francine: It was a slow week.

    • Muffy: Excuse me! I'm looking for the kind of music a grimy, skateboarding fourth-grader would listen to!

    • Francine: Binky, why do you have branches in your locker? Binky: Because - because I like trees. You got a problem with that?! Arthur, Francine and Buster: Uh, no.

    Trivia (1)

    • In "Don't Ask Muffy," during the Hoprah fantasy scene, there are two scenes with the same audience. The first scene was after the lady admitted that she wanted to redecorate her room. In the second scene, after Muffy says "Like the power of redecorating," most of the audience changes colors. For example, the old rabbit's sweater turns green and people's skin get lighter.

    Allusions (2)

    • Buster: (in fantasy sequence) Um, excuse me, I'm looking for a book about how to be a comedian. Female Salesclerk: Sure. Would you like Comedy for Dummies, Comedy for Imbeciles or Comedy for Complete and Utter Dodos? A reference to series of popular advice books which cover a multitude of series. The trend began with a series of books known as the "...For Dummies" books and now also includes "The Complete Idiot's Guide" series, among others.

    • The fictional talk-show host Hoprah Linseed seen in "Don't Ask Muffy" is a reference to acclaimed talk-show host and television personality Oprah Winfrey.
