    • In the opening titles, you can see the human version of the Backstreet Boys in the opening parts of "I Want It That Way".

    • Originally scheduled to air August 25th, 2002, "Arthur: It's Only Rock and Roll" has been pushed back to September 1st.

    • "Arthur, It's Only Rock and Roll" will also be available on home video and as a book in September.

    • During the concert scenes, the cartooned group will perform two new songs written by the show's creators, and their own material will be peppered throughout the episode. The special episode will also feature behind-the-scenes footage of the Boys tracking their vocal parts in a recording session yet to take place.

    • Backstreet Boys Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough are depicted in this special as rabbit-people, while Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter and A.J. McLean are bear-people.

    • In this episode, the crosswalk signals are designed a bit different. The man on the sign is green and facing left. Later episodes with walk signals have the man white and facing right, like real signals do.

    • Mrs. MacGrady suggests calling the band "The Five Apostles of the New Millenium", but the band only has four members. This is before Fern, the band's fifth member, joins.
