  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (12)

    • Arthur: Thank you all for coming. D.W.: What are you talking about? I'm here all the time. Arthur: Mommmm. Mrs. Read: D.W., quiet. Your brother is solving a mystery.

    • Fern: Holmes says that there is nothing more stimulating than a case where everything goes against you.

    • Arthur: Ms. Perske doesn't believe me, my own Dad doesn't believe me, even I'm starting not to believe me.

    • Fern: As Holmes once said, "the world is full of obvious things which nobody by chance ever observes." Your best bet is to go back to the scene of the crime and examine the evidence.

    • D.W.: Do you wanna hear about the real Mars, or just the made-up story?

    Notes (1)

    • Dave Read (Arthur's father) was born in either 1961 or 1960. He stated he was Arthur's age (8 years old) when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. He would be 35 years old, if the series takes place over a year. Otherwise he would be 45 years old.

    Trivia (4)

    • The writers of both stories are new to the series, however, Gentry Menzel has previously written for Postcards from Buster.

    • Francine reads the title card for the first story. It's the one where D.W. appears as a superhero and says "tada!" Binky reads the title card for the second. It's the one where Buster searches around the title card and then looks inside it, making his face look big.

    • In what is likely another tribute to the tenth season, both D.W. and Nadine's spacesuits bear the number 10.

    • Real-Kids Segment: A group of kids learn about the different planets in the solar system, including the recently discovered 10th planet, and then they create their own imaginary planets.

    Allusions (2)

    • The opening scene to Flaw and Order is a spoof of the ending from the movie version of Clue.

    • The story title "Flaw and Order' is a reference to Law & Order, an extremely popular procedural drama on NBC that has also spawned two spin-offs.
