  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (4)

    • (after giving his ballet shoes to D.W.) Binky: Always remember kid, dancing comes from inside you, YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO YOUR HEART, LISTEN TO THE BEAT, LISTEN TO THE RYTHM THE RYTHM OF THE STREET. D.W.: O.K., I will. Hey, did you just make that up? Binky: Nah, I heard it somewhere, but I can't remember where. Ah well.

    • Binky: From now on, call me Mr. Barnes. D.W.: (to herself) Mr. Barnes has a screw loose.

    • D.W.: You have to do what I want, or you'll get an F. Binky: Oh yeah? Well, if you don't do what I want, you'll get an F. D.W.: I'm in preschool. We don't have grades.

    • Muffy: Golden is good. Platinum is better.

    Notes (2)

    • Binky suddenly and pointlessly twists his ankle near the end of "Dancing Queen". Is this a reference to the all-too-common plot twist in dance movies, where one of the leads suffers an injury and can't go on stage during a critical performance?

    • Both of the Tibbles have new voices this season. Tommy Tibble is voiced by Aaron Grunfeld and Timmy Tibble is voiced by Samuel Holden.

    Trivia (1)

    • In "Fernkenstein's Monster" there is a scene where Fern is swinging on a swing and at one point the camera cuts to side thought of her and the front of her shirt has turned blue instead of the purple color it normally is.

    Allusions (2)

    • The story title "Fernkenstein's Monster" is a reference to the story Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, featuring the mad scientist Dr. Frankenstein and his monster. Mary Shelley stated that her story came to her in a dream. Fern also composed her story mostly on the spot.

    • Binky: YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO YOUR HEART, LISTEN TO THE BEAT, LISTEN TO THE RYTHM THE RYTHM OF THE STREET.
That phrase is from this show's theme song.
