  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (5)

    • Cottle: (to Sharon) I find it absolutely amazing. You people went to all the trouble to appear human and didn't upgrade the plumbing.

    • Number Six: (talking to Sharon about Gaius Baltar) His house was on a bluff over a lake. I always loved the view, sunlight over water. It was my favourite spot in the universe. Gaius: Yes, magical. Too bad you nuked it.

    • Admiral Adama: The Cylons went through a great deal of trouble to create this thing. It should go without saying that if it's good for them, it's gonna be bad for us.

    • Caprica Six: I lived on Caprica for two years. I knew what I was. I pretended to be human but I knew. Boomer: You know, if you knew what you were and you lived on Caprica, you know what that makes you? A really good liar.

    • Number Six: Genocide, murder, vengeance. They're all...sins in the eyes of God. That's what you and I know. That's what they don't want to hear. Number Eight (Sharon): Because then, they'd have to rethink what they're doing! They'd have to consider that maybe the slaughter of mankind was a mistake!

    Notes (2)

    • Jamie Bamber and Katee Sackhoff do not appear in this episode.

    • It was mistakenly rumored that this episode had been cut from the schedule when the "Resurrection Ship" story was expanded into two episodes. According to Ronald Moore, Episode 18 was originally to have been a clip show (one that reuses several clips from previous episodes in order to save money). Once "Resurrection Ship" was expanded, there was no longer a need for a "filler" clip show and the original Episode 18 was cut. The new Episode 18 will be "Downloaded." The rumors may have begun when word got out that Episode 18 was being cut.

    Trivia (7)

    • Kara Thrace's serial number in the Colonial Fleet is 462753.

    • After the insurgents break through the vent and enter the garage, the first two cars they see are a Rover P6 and a Citro├źn DS, both of which were discontinued in the 1970s.

    • The car that Anders survives under has a Caprica license plate that reads SEXYMOM. It also has a bumper sticker that reads C BUCKS RULE. We can assume the C stands for Caprica.

    • As of the beginning of this episode, there are 49,579 survivors in the fleet.

    • This episode reveals that among the twelve human Cylon models, individual Cylons exhibit different personalities and behaviors.

    Allusions (1)

    • The sculptures on the table in Sharon's apartment on Caprica are said to be Ithacan. This is a subtle reference to Cornell University, which is located in Ithaca, New York. Co-executive producer Ronald D. Moore attended Cornell, although he did not complete his degree program.
