  • Another decent episode, it could have used more action sequences.

    • Imaginary Baltar: So you’re here to save him, are you? Caprica Six: I told you -- I don’t know. Imaginary Baltar: You’re here because you want to be human. (Caprica Six smiles in acknowledgment) There’s a trick to being human. You have to think only about yourself.

    • Helo: (to Adama) Sir, people could be dying under Robert’s care. Cottle: People die under my care every day. It goes with the damn job. Helo: Killing doesn’t.

    • Tigh: You may as well take whatever credibility you have left and chuck it out an airlock. You seriously wanna stand up for these crazy frakking people? What is it with you? You just like being on the outside, lookin' in, don’t ya? Helo: I don’t quite know what you mean by that sir, unless you’re referring to my wife. Again.

    • Helo: If you thought Dr. Robert was dangerous, why let him treat your son? I mean, you said you were warned. Mrs. King: I couldn’t believe anyone could have that much hate inside of them.

    • Athena: (about the Sagittarons) Yeah, I want you to look the other way. I have to fight every single day on this ship to be accepted. Helo: This has nothing to do with you, okay? You think that’s who I am, that’s what I’ve become? That’s my defining characteristic, the guy married to a Cylon? This guy's dirty. I think he’s a liar, and I think he’s killing people because he’s a racist son-of-a-bitch.

    Notes (5)

    • At Joe's Bar, Connor refers to Racetrack as "Marge." This is the first time in the series that anyone has used that nickname in reference to Racetrack. Her full name, Margaret Edmondson, was first revealed in the episode "Final Cut" from Season 2.

    • The game that Racetrack, Chief Tyrol, Apollo and Dee are playing at Joe's Bar is called Pyramid X.

    • Unlike the lymphocytic encephalitis disease that affected the Cylons in the episodes "Torn" and "A Measure of Salvation," the disease in this episode (Mellorak Sickness) does not appear to be a real disease. The medicine (Bittamusin) does not appear to be taken from real life either. However, there is a real-life animal disease called African horse sickness. One of the noted researchers of the disease is a Dr. Philip S. Mellor of the Institute for Animal Health in the town of Woking, Surrey (United Kingdom). Woking was also the town where H.G. Wells wrote the famous novel The War of the Worlds.

    • As of the beginning of this episode, there are 41,401 survivors in the fleet, two fewer than at the beginning of the previous episode.

    • Tahmoh Penikett read the "Previously on Battlestar Galactica" line at the beginning of this episode.
