  • Episode Description
  • Theo reads the cubs a book about the wild adventures of Pecos Bill, specifically about the time ol' Bill wrangled a tornado. • Leona: (singing) Click clicked with her trickiest, slickest click / And dragged and dropped that twister quick.

    • Buster: I am not a cowboy. I am Barnaby B. "Don't Call Me Buster" Busterfield III, founder of this library. Get this hat off my head this instant!

    • Pecos Bill: Story's not true. Never happened. Never could happen. It's a tall tale. I'm just a paper hero.

    • Cleo: Stay calm. We're having a technical problem. A slight tornado. Perfectly harmless.

    • Theo: Bill said to Tess, "I must confess. If there's one thing I detest, it's a mess."

    Trivia (7)

    • Cleo serves as the designated reader for this episode.

    • The Word Doctor with Dr. Ruth Wordheimer: Dr. Ruth Wordheimer's services are once again called up to handle a "long word freakout." A monkey was reading a book, when he came to a word that he felt was just too long to read -- "impressive." Dr. Ruth helps him to take a deep breath and see that the word is possible to read if he sounds it out.

    • Cliff Hanger: Cliff Hanger spots two movers carrying a large "ed" in Adventure 2,345: Cliff Hanger and the Bed. He consults his Trusty Survival Manual for advice on how this situation might help him get off of his cliff. It tells him that when he sees an "ed," he should find the letter "b" and drop it. He does so, and turns the "b" into "bed." He then drops onto the bed, but simply bounces, and ends up having to grab back on to the cliff to save his life.

    • Gawain's Word: "W" and "et" blend together at high speed to make the word "wet." They then dump water on each other.

    • The word "west" is the key word in this episode.

    • Female Monkey Singer: (singing) Let's start with our favorite vowel, a pretty good place to start.

The line is similar to "Do-Re-Mi" from the 1965 movie: The Sound of Music.
