    • Ian Ziering: I feel so great with this. The power of the meeting brings us together as a wonderful family now. It's like a gift, so it's great to see you all.

    • Shannen Doherty: It's like a real high school reunion. Wonderful moments, sad moments, unforgettable moments.

    • Steve: You got a nose job! Kelly: Yeah, I did. Steve: Looks good. Kelly: Big improvement, huh! Steve: Yeah, they took about a foot off. Kelly: Now I know why I broke up with you.

    • Brenda: Everyone here looks like they stepped out of a music video. I don't even have the right hair.

    • David: Before we go, I have to tell you one thing. I don't have my license. Is that a problem for you? Steve: YEEHAW!! David: Guess not.

    • Steve: (about Kelly) She's lousy in bed, she's got a nasty personality... David: I could live with that. Steve: Who are you?!

    • Marianne: You smell so good. What is that you're wearing? Brandon: Uh... I don't know. Tide?

    • Brandon: First day of school. Strange city, new house, no friends. I'm psyched.

    • There have been many interviews where the cast claims that they did not get along with Shannen Doherty. Jennie Garth is no exception, as she stated in Tori Spelling's E! True Hollywood Story that she and Shannen "chose to not get along." Jennie and Shannen showed no signs of animosity in the reunion, but this could be testimony to the acting talents of both women.

    • This special marks the first time that Shannen Doherty has taken part in a 90210 retrospective. She had initially agreed to participate in The Final Goodbye in 2000 (Tori Spelling said in a magazine interview that she had taped something for the show), but backed out forcing her face to be whited out in clips.

    • The bulk of the special was a discussion between Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Jennie Garth and Luke Perry. James Eckhouse, Carol Potter and Joe E. Tata joined in for a few minutes toward the close of the show. Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green were seen in episode clips and mentioned several times, but chose not to participate due to "other projects."

    • The real Beverly Hills High School, which the show is based on, is actually located in the area code 90212.

    • The high school that was used on Beverly Hills 90210 was also used in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

    • Featured Music: I Want Your Love by Transvision Vamp All I Want Is Everything by Jellyfish If I Wanted (performed by a band at the party) Clear To You by Innocence Mission Motion Of Love by Gene Loves Jezebel (at the club when Jason buys a drink for Brenda) Wild In The Streets by Garland Jeffries

    Trivia (179)

    • In this episode Brenda tells Brandon that the car he drives is not just his, it is theirs. That fact will change after this episode. The car Brandon drives is called Mondale and exclusively Brandon's car.

    • As most pilots are shot far in advance of the actual episodes of a show (including this on) there are many differences to note from the pilot to the first episode, and later episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210. ~The Walsh home is not the Spanish style house used in all future episodes. ~Brandon's car is not the same car he drives from episode 1-2 on ~Kelly's mom refers to a boyfriend named Bob, who is not mentioned in the future. ~Brandon's hair is longer, and his later famous sideburns are missing in the pilot.

    • Class of Beverly Hills was the working title of the series before it became known as Beverly Hills 90210.

    • In this episode, Brenda changes her Minnesota driver's license and uses it as a fake I.D. to get into the bar. In later shows, it's an ongoing story that Brenda doesn't have her license and must learn to drive.

    • According to the addresses on the envelope in the intro, the Walshes move from: 1408 Walnut Avenue Minneapolis, MN 55348 to 933 Hillcrest Drive Beverly Hills, CA 90210.

    • Sarah claims she is from the valley, which is on "the darkness on the edge of town". The quoted text is the title of a 1978 song by Bruce Springsteen.

    • In this episode, the Walsh's maid, Anna, doesn't understand or speak a word of English.  Several episodes later, in "East Side Story", she speaks perfect English.

    • When Brenda and Tiffany stay behind while the other girls go horseback riding, Tiffany says that four legged creatures don't really interest her.  Brenda replies, "Yeah, me neither."  We later find that isn't true, as Brenda once owned a horse when she was a kid in Minneapolis, and she takes a stray dog into the Walsh house.
