  • show Description
  • When their home planet, Mars is on the verge of destruction by the Plutarkians- a species of fish-like aliens who are searching for resources from other planets, a bunch of Humanoid Mice escape their world. Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo, a trio of Biker Mice from Mars were shot down by a Plutarkian Ship, and crash landed on Earth. On Chicago, Illinois, they become allies with a human mechanic named Charley. The Mice discover that the Plutarkians have started to make their move on th Earth. The Biker Mice quickly investigate, and discover that one of the city's leading citizens, Lawrence Limburger, is actually a Plutarkian in disguise, who is sending the land back to Plutark. Characters Vinnie: The 21-year-old Vinnie is a rebel who has a big ego. He is certainly fearless, daring, and loves everything that is involved in danger. His implusiveness and boldness always gets him in trouble. Modo: The buffed-up muscle mice, Modo, 23-years-old, is kind and gentle, but he can do serious damage if he is angered or finds himself in a battle with villains. Throttle: The capable and responsible leader, Throttle always wants to find some action. The dashing 23-year-old acts "cool" and sends out good messages and ideas to solve their problems.moreless

    • Throttle: Guys, le'me tell you something. In this wild and woolly universe of ours, there are only three things you can count on: your brains. Your bros'. And your bike!

    • Vinnie: Yep, that's me! I'm the baddest motorcycle mamma-jammer in the universe! Throttle: Modest, too.

    • Throttle: Vincent, it works better if you shoot before the weapon flies out the door. Vinnie: Yeah, well, um... timing is everything.

    • Exterminator: I'll be back. Throttle: Yeah, well don't forget to write.

    • Dr. Karbunkle: Speaking of inventions. I have one you might like to meet. Exterminator! Exterminator: Hasta la vista, rodents.

    • Greasepit: This is one crummy place you got here– it's crawlin' with rats! Modo: My momma didn't raise no stinkin' rat! Throttle: It's tail-whippin' time!

    • Charley: I don't believe this. I've just been saved by a bunch of giant.... gerbils? Throttle: Mice, ma'am, we're mice. Charley: Mice…? Modo: You were expecting turtles, maybe? Charley: Mice. With antennas …and biker clothes... and motorcycles... and– Vinnie: Don't forget your basic studly bod. Charley: I've seen better. Vinnie: Maybe, but not with this much charm. Charley: Where on Earth did you guys come from? Modo: Mars. Charley: Mars?! Throttle: Mars. Charley: Mars?!?!? Vinnie: Is there an echo in here?

    • Throttle: How about No-Hands Maneuver Number 5? Vinnie: Aww, can't we do Number 3 instead? I look so cool in that one! Throttle: Number 5, Vincent.

    Notes (6)

    • A 3 issue comicbook series was released and all 3 parts were all the 1st episode, though the comicbook versions had a bit more mature content. Like Greasepit calls Charley a bimbo and Greasepit is seen smashing through the window where limburger's office is and falling on top of Limburger after the biker mice defeated him the 2nd time.

    • This episode is released on home video along with 1x02 and 1x03 on the same tape

    • This ep is released on Home Video along with "A Mouse and his Motorcycle"

    • THROTTLE: (playing Santa) Oh, no, man! You don't really want toys that look some waterlogged reptiles, do you? VINNIE: Yeah! Fuzzy and buff is where it's at! KARBUNKLE: Something is destroying the Snow-Suckers! LIMBURGER: These days, 'something' always seems to be those bothersome Biker Mice! LIMBURGER: What's that? KARBUNKLE: The sun, your mellow richness. LIMBURGER: I know it's the sun, you simpering simpleton! But what is it doing there? KARBUNKLE: Uh…shining? LIMBURGER: Hmmm. I wonder how the Biker Mice's little wayward waifs are weathering this wintry weather. KARBUNKLE: I would wager not well, your camembertness. LIMBURGER: And then, with all Earth's water in my control, the leaders of the Earth will beg me to take their natural resources in exchange for…a sip of water.

    • This was the last Biker Mice from Mars episode to be produced

    • Introduction of the new villians, the Catatonians. A race of humanoid cats that intend to conquer Mars, steal the Regenerator, and eat the Martian Mice population.

    Trivia (3)

    • During the first two seasons, the mice hang out at Wrigley Field. The Friendly Confines depicted does not look like Wrigley at all, but more like a cross between Comiskey Park and the old Soldier Field.

    • The characters Hacka and Honka Loogie were based on the Hanz and Franz characters on Saturday Night Live.

    • In this episode, we learn Greasepit met the Mice before they came to earth, which is weird because he was in the first episode. He acted like he'd never met them before.

    Allusions (3)

    • Exterminator is a spoof of the cyborg Terminator featured in The Terminator trilogy of films. Terminator catchphrases are paraphrased within the episode, such as "Hasta la vista, rodents," and "I'll be back" voiced to recall the actor Arnold Schwarzenegger who plays Terminator in the trilogy. Also, Exterminator makes the "I'll be back" comment as he's sinking into the oil container which is a reference to the end scene of Terminator II, where he sinks into a pit of red hot liquid.

    • Corridor Cody: Black Gold, Texas Tea– Crude that is. This quote is a direct refrence to The Beverly Hillbillies television series.

    • There were several references to James Bond in this episode; Steelfinger is a reference to the James Bond movie Goldfinger, the action protagonist Modo likes is "James Bomb". He introduces himself at a party as "Mouse. Modo Mouse" a reference to how Bond always introduced himself. Greasepit tried to attack Modo with a bowler with a buzzsaw built into the brim is a reference to the villain Oddjob who threw hats as his weapon. And Modo ordered his root beer as "Very cold, not shaken, not stirred" a reference to Bond's affinity for a dry martini "Shaken, not stirred"
