B.J. and the Bear

Trivia, Quotes, Notes and Allusions

Quotes (4)

  • BJ: (Deidre has told him she is a witch) All these years I've been thinking that a witch is just a dried up old lady with a pointy hat and a wart on her nose. If I'd known they all look like you, I would have gone "witch"!

  • Sheriff Harley: (to the mob who have attacked Deidre and killed her) All right you people, you've done enough! Get out of here! Go on, go home! And while you're going, think about a girl whose life has just been ended. Think about the fact that you're all accessories to manslaughter. Being part of a mob is like being in a pack of animals! Go home!

  • Denby: (Sheriff Harley arrests him for the mob violence he led against Deidre) What? Harley, you don't understand! I-I was doing the Lord's work!

  • Deidre: (BJ is disturbed about her selling a love potion) It's only because you don't understand it. It's not superstition and it's not evil. It's the oldest faith in the world.
