  • Episode Description
  • Today we play store with Joe, helping him to purchase things from shops set up by our various friends. We use measurement and logic to help determine the right things to buy. Things purchased include a hat for Boris the duck and strawberries. A Blue Skidoo segment takes us into a furniture store, where we help characters to purchase new items of furniture to replace the old ones that they have outgrown.moreless

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (3)

    • Joe: Maybe there's a clue under this table. Kid: A clue! Joe: A clue? I must have missed it.

    • Joe: Mr. Owl, you dropped something. Kid: A clue, a clue! Joe: Good idea! Hoo-hoo. Hoo-hoo. Mr. Owl!

    • Joe: Attention shoppers! The mail's here. Let's go!

    Notes (5)

    • This episode is on the DVD "Blue's Jobs."

    • Joe is wearing an orange shirt in this episode. We also see a photo of him and Blue in which he's wearing a blue shirt.

    • This episode also appears in online listings as "What Does Blue Want to Get at the Store?" and "Pretend Store."

    • The format for selection is a bit odd in this episode. Normally, when the viewer is expected to select things, three or more will be shown and then the viewer will select the right one. In this episode, a selection is made, but at least a couple times, the characters select the wrong thing before realizing that the viewer was "pointing" to something else.

    • Mailtime Segment: Mailbox pretends he's a mail store and Joe "pays" him for the letter. In the letter, a girl and a boy play store. They try to figure out the right shirt for the boy, until they finally find a yellow one that fits just right.

    Trivia (1)

    • There are four hidden snails in this episode, but as a rule, there are only supposed to be three.
